Oh man, what a day!

Saturday was so sweet! Mark, too bad we never found you guys out on the hill, was looking forward to that LOTS of Deep snow still to be found, and lots of cornice huckin'! Took a ton of photos and videos. Will post them when I get a chance. Some wall hangers for sure. Where did you guys end up? We tried the radio a couple times, but nothing.

Late poach, had to do it. Appears i had a open/short in the ignition switch.

WE NEED SNOW BAD, imo. Felt like late April conditions..36-40 temps..can you say corn snow.

My group rode Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Stayed at Grand Mesa Lodge. Ken and Connie were awesome hosts and we all enjoyed the stay. Cabins are rustic but are just right for B.S.ing, card playin, and tippin a few cold ones back (and the price and location are just right.) For not being at all familiar with the area we had an awesome time. Only saw one other group of sledders away from the cabin during the three days. Arrived Wednesday night right after the storms and rode in 40 degree weather with clear skies and no wind for 3 days. You Mesa homers have an awesome area to ride!! Heres some pics and vid from the trip.

Bonham private land

Well it's my fault, I know it's my responsibility to know where you are at all times and to know the land. Most of you have been on this land I am sure. At the parking area at Bonham as you look up the trail you see that pipeline cutout on the left going up the side of the hill? Well it was the end of the day and no one had been up it that day, there were some old, old tracks so I thought what the heck and off I went, made it over the top on my old hunk a junk 670, turned around and came back down to find a buddy of mine stuck on his M8 about 2/3 up (I did not know he was behind me). I couldn't stop to help him as I slid right by, got to the bottom, went to turn around and that's when I met the Land OwnerHe was very nice, he led me back up to help my buddy down. I could tell he wasn't open to any visitors on his land that day. I apologized for trespassing and on my way I went. I just wanted to share this to all who did not know this is private land, that pipeline is very, very tempting.
