Ouch. 40degree slopes, big spruce trees, and ghostrider don't mix... The right hand ski is on THIS side of the trees....the rest of the sled...not so much......

The hill where it happened.....notice lots of snow falling out of the trees...

More pics to come.....

First post

This was the first year of sledding for me. Just thought I would post some pics to contribut to the thread. My buddy Troy and I just started so no big drops or hill climbs but we had fun.

how is the snow report looking and what did the mesa area end up getting as far as new snow.

What kind of base is there ??

I am asking all these ?s because i might be heading that way about 10 days.
????? or possibly oregan?????

Sorry boys, rode the last 2 days from leroux creek rode 60 miles both days. Thursday it was DEEP couldn't see 100 yards but the snow was there, froze because the snow was over the hood on my arms and my chest all day. Easy 2-3 feet of powder.

Went back today snow has settled a lot but the sun was shining, best snow I've ridden in all winter. To bad its so far away.

Twas the day for sidehillin'

I had to work this morning, so Charlie and I decided to head up and catch a half a day. When the powder Gods decide it's time to ride Hidden Valley it can be epic. Ran into Neil and Phillip from Montrose and got a good shot of Phil hucking a nice cornice. April usually doesn't disappoint on the Mesa. Sorry you had to work Ray.
