Ahhhhh, nothing like Colorado ey.

It looks like we will be in your neck of the woods Saturday. Probably bang around the Lost Lake area.

Cool - stop down at the Y mid-day for some food!

I'm not sure if Turbo or Phil groomed out to ES this week or not.
Hopefully the carpet is waiting for ya!

Saturday my turn.....

After years of good luck, the tides finally turned on me. We got up to Kebler nice and early, blue bird skys, about a foot of fresh on a great base, awesome. 1 hour into the ride, my sled just cold quit. I had just climbed a nice hill, and was turning around to pick a line back down and it shut down just like somebody hit the kill switch. We pulled the plugs, nice'n dry and chocolate brown. Good. Checked for spark. Nada. Tried a bunch of different things with the wiring, Nada. Zilch. Jeff dragged my *** back to the road and down to the trailer. It's now at English Brothers in Montrose. Will talk to them tomorrow, hopefully it's nothing major.....spending 4 days sledding at Arrowhead starting on Wednesday night. Anybody got any ideas?

South of Grand Mesa....

Alpine Plateau - AKA Arrowhead. 16 friends, 4 days of incredible riding. Narry another soul to be seen. Got the "Black Plague" back from the shop with a new stator and CDI.:eek:and she was back to her normal ripping self - embarassing a heavily modded M7. Rode awesome glades and un-molested pow day after day. Also built a little kicker.......

Damb Ryan, where'd you get the snowcat to build that jump. WOW! I want to get some shots of you and Mason going big this year. Thinking of putting a calender together. DA Mesa's going to be good this weekend.

HA!

Yeah I WISH we had a snowcat to build jumps...that one took about 2 hours of Mason and I shoveling. We had a big scoop shovel from the cabin and our avalanche shovels. It was hard work, but worth it.

Yup Mesa should be awesome. I'm heading back down to Arrowhead this weekend with the wife - Valentines day and all. About 20" of fresh down there this week so plenty of freshies. Have fun on the Mesa, be safe and take pics! :beer;

This just in

hwy 65 over the top of Grand Mesa is closed for Avy control. You know what that means.........Powderhorn has had close to 30" this week, so double that for the top. Booya y'all, be safe this weekend! :D

Ryan, I've hunted out of Arrowhead quite a few times and would enjoy riding it sometime this spring.

Let's make it happen. It's still pretty good up here through april. I'm here at the cabin now. 7" fresh and snowing lightly. That's at 8800 feet, I'm betting up at the summit it should be double that or better. It's 11000 up there. Have fun on the Mesa today.

Man it was deep up there today...

That just right kinda deep... :face-icon-small-ton

You got that right..............I dropped my camera and lost it, finally found it. My pic's suck but you get the idea. It snowed all day, 3 sets of goggles and gloves.

The CAIC is reporting that Wier and Johnson slid last sunday with a sidehilling snowmobile as the trigger. Anybody see this happen? They said it was pretty large, 5 foot crown.

Watched a guy from Delta break the west side of it loose about three weeks ago. I'm assuming that it slid in the middle?
