Anybody heard from Mark? Plans to rebuild? busy rebuilding? His website is still up, still has pics of the restaurant on it, no info at all about what's going on. Maybe he took the insurance money and left - hope not.

Just the main lodge, nobody got hurt, everyone is fine. Mark is probably going to rebuild it.

Sorry Gentlemen, haven't been on here much, quite a lot to take care of as you can imagine. The Lodge is cleaned up and we now have a very large dance floor where lodge used to stand! No decisions as to what is going to take place. Dealing with Ins. Co. right now. Also the Forest Service has a lot to say what will happen. Drawing plans as we speak to determine value of what I had and what it will cost to rebuild. It is a frustrating process that will take some time.
Only good thing so far is that no one was hurt and Hunter is unscathed also, so all in all it is just material items lost and they can be replaced.
I'll post when a decision is made. Thanks for all the well wishes. Mark

So, someone sharper than I pointed out that I should have put in last post that the cabins were undamaged and we are open and renting cabins. Everything up here is in great shape and only damage was to the lodge. That is why you have a good atty. Thanks Mr. Hassler. (03RMK800) Anyone needing an Atty. on the west slope here's your man!

I feel for you Mark! Dealing with Insurance companies is almost worse than the initial loss of the property! Stand tough against those *******s! Good luck and can't wait to make it back up to the grand mesa to see you guys and ride!

Well, da##, now his website is gone. If you click on it you go to GoDaddy.com and it asks if you want to buy the name. Anybody know anything? Anybody been up there?

The site worked for me. The only one I found for sale was the restaurant.
