Sorry I cant come up sunday already have plans with the family! Have fun be safe and be sure to let us now how it goes!

Im thinking ill head up begining of the week after the storm has dropped all it can! Forcast still looks great with chance of snow everyday till thursday. I think its going to be here by Christmas Guys!

Just went out to the official unofficial stick and it show 16" not 12". It is a whitout up here right now. The Mesa is getting slammed. Plowed at 6 am this morning and there is another 2" in the lot already. Me Likey! Going riding, I'll post some pics later. Oh, Sam, your spot is ready and I am stocking Poo Goo now so no need to worry about that driveshaft.

Almost forgot, Bar & Restaurant opened yesterday with new people running it. THIS CHICK CAN COOK!!!!!!!!!!!! All new hugely expanded menu. I am really confident everyone is going to like this. I am gonna weigh 400 lbs. by spring. Sam, wait until you see the desserts.

Sounds good! I am liking the sounds of everything above. Have been killing time at work and reading many forecast discussions. They all seem to agree that this past week was the turning point (for the better) in the storm tracks. They don't come out and say it, but they make it sound like it will be sticking around for a long while.

Have fun to all of those riding, I'm thinking of you as I enjoy this wonderful 44 degree windy and rainy midwest weather! Post some pics

Thanks again

ABSOLUTELY PSYCHED!! Me and a buddy are making our first trip to the Grand Mesa and our first time snowmobiling over Christmas. We are staying at TML in cabin #27 from Dec. 23-26. Mark has reserved trail machines for us for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. As beginners, we plan on sticking to the trails and really couldn't afford the high performance machines anyway. We are just looking forward to getting out on the trails and enjoying the sights. BUT if anyone would be willing to take us out for some off trail riding, we would be up for some adventure. Also bringing our guitars for some entertainment. Glad to hear restaurant and bar is open - plan on spending some time on a bar stool and maybe providing some entertainment.

Thanks to everyone on this forum for all your help. IT has been a wonderful source of information for planning this vacation. If you see two middle aged guys that don't look like they know what they are doing or lost, stop and say hello!!

See ya on the Mesa Sunday afternoon!!!

Went for a little ride today with Ken and M1000MOD162 today east of the lodge. Snow was literally over the hood deep. You can still hit rocks which I did about 6 times. Showed Ryan on how to get off! 2-3' of fresh powder and it is still snowing. It was crazy deep on top. Everybody was going to bring a camera and no one did, so I guess I'll take one for the team and ride again tomorrow and score some pics. Mesa be looking good.

Thanks for the Ride today Mark! Guys it was deep today and alot of fun! Just like Mark said coming over the hood deep! I think by the time this storm is over we may be able to start riding off the trails after it sets up a little! It was very light snow so we cut down through it pretty good which led to us all scraping some rocks! But I honestly believe Were going to be riding where ever we want by Christmas!:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap
