THUNDER MOUNTAIN LODGE SNOW REPORT

Did the forecast hold true? Any snow this weekend?

QUESTION: I am making my first snowmobiling trip to the Grand Mesa over Christmas and we are renting trail machines. Approximately how far can we go on a tank of gas?

Ya know there are Fires, and Fire Stations here in Grand Juntion buddy! Im pretty sure the GJFD could use a Fire fighter like youself!........... In fact Ill bet TML needs a Fire Staion and a fire fighter for all those cabins up there! Maybe Mark just needs to put you on the payroll and buy you a fire truck!

So now that The JOB problem is resolved how soon can we expect ya? Should I start house shopping for ya!

Getting anything up top? Can't tell by the webcam. Looking to ride next weekend. Hopefully we get dumped on this weekend.
 
Less then half an inch! This weekends storm is only supposed to bring like 6 inchs Its getting scary again! At last it looks like the strom are going to get more consistant!
 
I'm in for a Monday ride on the Mesa if we get enough for a road ride.. I have a new Pro in the garage that needs some exercise!
 
Keep us posted on the weather conditons. Heading to the Mesa over Christmas and very interested in the conditions. BTW Average Joe, camped at Bogan Flats outside Marble 2 summers ago. What a cool place!!
 
Maybe you are going to have to get one of the snow making machines like the ski hills for up at TML if this keeps up, Mark.
 
Rode over to Big creek this afternoon! I think there was a hair more snow that way, I was seeing 7-8" but still need alot more! But the snow was still fun! I think It will be here soon! Good looking focast ahead still with a nice storm Through weekend! Was still snowing on and off when I loaded up at 4PM.

We rode out to Cottonwood from the VC. I'd have to agree with the 7-8". Was that you we chatted with just before getting back to the VC?
