Deep powder is finally here. Most people have to head into the backcountry to find it but the Snow-Pro "Mark Stewart" 163, finds it right out the back door. Priceless. This picture was taken from INSIDE the restaurant, out the dining room window at Roscoe's.
155's stay home.

It gets better yet. We went out on a rescue today, to get some kids that got stuck out on the slush.

Mark got stuck so bad with his RMK Pro 163, the Arctic Cat guys had to go dig' em out.

A big thanks to Team ARCTIC CAT!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way kids are out warm and safe and have to go back and get the sleds out in the mourning.

155 better bring lots of cream & strap up your boots

Lots of slush on the lakes, I could have used a propeller instead. It's going to be a project getting those 2 sleds out. I can't believe how much snow we have. It was literally chin deep when I got off my sled. Arctic Cat Testing guys are ok in my book! I asked them if they wanted to try out the competition when I got out, but they declined, go figure!

Chili party Friday night!

Perfect timing for the snow, can't wait for the CSA convention this weekend. Be seeing you boys Friday afternoon for a quick ride prior to the chili and beers.
Save me some of that bottomless stuff!

I am hoping so! What is the latest with the avalanche conditions? Any sign of them getting better?

The natural Avi cycle has ended after this last storm. However, human triggered slides remain a constant concern for now and the forseable future as the original snowpack needs to bond, when and if that will happen is a big question??????

Just remember when you guys get out here:
1. One sled on the hill at a time!
2. One sled on the hill at a time!
3. One sled on the hill at a time!
4. Be ready for anything to slide at anytime!
5. Have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And one more thing. Make sure you have a TURBO. Go over the TOP and don't get stuck on the hill.:face-icon-small-hap:high5:

You are right Mark. ONE SLED on the hill at a time. Be careful everyone. It is still sketchy on the hills. Even after a slide, the "rotten" snow from the first of the year is laying there. New snow does not bond well to it.:face-icon-small-fro

Looks like the snotel is heading in the right direction tonight. Likely to finally break the 60" mark early this morning.
Snowing hard enough here in GJ to knock out my Dish. Thank God I had dvr'd The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.:nono:

The Mesa got 6" night before last and about 8" last night. That gives another 14" this week. It is really shaping up on the Grand Mesa, over the hood deep in most places in the Backcountry. Bring everything you got the Powder and riding is perfect right now.
