Hey Mark...what cha' say we get that webcam up and running on real time eh? :face-icon-small-blu

Webcam is up and running again. Picture perfect day on the Mesa. Oh look, there is a dirt bike and I think it is calling my name! See you later suckas.

Loving these forecasts!!! I hate all of you who live out west - would trade anything to have a 2-4 hour drive instead of a 20 hour drive!

Ryan, sent you a PM give me a shout

So is anyone thinking about a 2013 4M ride this year at Grand Mesa?

More like a 15 second walk for me. You could just cowboy up, get married, buy a lodge, and live the good life. Just Sayin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny, I was just thinking about this again this week. I had some discussion with PJ about this very thing earlier this year. I think Thunder Mountain Lodge should host something in late Feb. this year. Any idea how many may be interested in a few days on the Grand Mesa?

yes please

Looks good! How much snow does it take for the mesa to be rideable anyway?

10 Feet!!! The rocks are so big it takes that much. JK Usually 4-5' starts getting it doable. Just depends on how brave and how deep your pockets are. Carnage waits under that first of the year snow. We usually hit the Flat tops first. A lot less rock.

Sounds fun

Tough time of the year for me to get away but I really want to check out TML and the mesa. I'm sure you will fill up so what is some close alternative lodging again? Sorry, I know you answered this.

J

Keep an eye on the webcam gentlemen at www.thundermountainlodge.net. I'll also be posting depths we get. Usually 5' is needed to be safe, but there is a lot of rode riding up here to get the new ones broke in or to just get the edge off.

Here she comes.:smow::smow::face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap Can't wait. Even a road ride and then lunch. Going to be a great year at TML.:peace:

Just went to Hotchkiss for work ad the mesa is in the clouds. Fingers are crossed for a road ride on Sunday!

Web cam looks a lot better today!!! Pouring here in Provo and dumping in the mnts, looks like everyone is going to get a piece of BRUTUS. I can't believe the weather service is naming winter storms now. lol

Only a couple inches so far. Started out real wet and heavy and then turned to grapple and not much accumulation.
