throttle safety switch

what's the easiest way to disable/unhook the throttle safety switch on a pro ?

i run a tether for safety

Usually just tape the switch closed and tuck it under the hood.

The TSS is a resistor switch. If you simply disconnect it, it will throw an error code and not allow sled to rev up.

You will need to either tape the switch closed

Or

Put an inline resistor (with the proper value) in. The resistor values are in the service manual.

I used to cut a piece of 1/8" brass (brazing rod) the correct length and place it in parallel to the axle of the throttle flipper to contact the switch and this makes the tss inop as it is designed but fools the ECU into thinking the throttle is depressed. Worked for me on two or three sleds.
