So what kind of warranty is on this kit again? And I would hope since you condone riding in shale rock that you will warranty the track WHEN it breaks? And any other damage coused from riding in mud/water/rocks/sand?

Looks like fun!

90 days

to answer you, 90 days, and i never had a track "break" on anything, they wear out. this track is the same, normal wear is not covered. all the tests we have done so far has shown little wear on the track. When you buy a dirt bike, do you worry how long your tire will last? with this track, you have a lot more surface area taking the brunt, its holding up quite well, but as you know its not the space shuttle either, so there will be wear! but the great news is ,,,, its only 3k for the entire kit,,,,, ski, track, chain, kickstand, and adaptor kit for your bike! Are you ready to pull the trigger, or just voicing your thoughts? because that kind of question is just what i would be asking as well, good job!

mike

warantee the track? what kind of warntee do you get on your tire now? the other parts i could see but the track is a wear part just like a tire.

this makes me want to ditch 2 wheels more and more!!!!! whats teh price on teh kit again?

My "track" doesnt go hillclimbing on a rock pile in the summer! Or mud runnin. At best it might go over some water!

Thats the point I am trying to make! It WILL wear out prematurely running in these conditions!

Whats the price for a new track?

And you say the kit is "only 3K"

I can buy a GREAT used sled for that! And not have to buy a new track for it every year!

My .02!

cool

its cool, not all toys are for everyone, your right, you have to put your track away in the summer, this is just a great product that you can use year round. some people would never want to be this crazy, but like i say, there is something for everyone! the biggest point of these vid's are to show that this kit is well built. and will last a long time if only riden in snow, but can be used all year, there are people that are not skilled to climb hills with their buddies, this kit makes hill climbs a lot easier, not to mention, did you see it sidehill in the dirt? Anyway,,,,the track price to replace is around 350-375

thanks
Mike

Is it just me? It just doesnt sound right listening to a 4 stroke anymore without hearing a turbo and a BOV going off. Boy I have a problem

extra weight and that unit adds up to a real horse power robber.
Still a cool concept.

Man,,,,,,,, some of you guys are something else....... Got one person worried about how long the track will last, got another lamenting the fact that $3k could be used for a good used sled, and another talking about the 38 pounds as a real horsepower robber.

Come on now, either you like the concept of this thing and want to buy one, or you hate the concept and will never buy one......

There is nobody who can warranty a track for that kind of abuse, engineer a product and make a buck or two on it for less than $3k (How much should it cost by the way?), and engineer a product to run on snow like this does and have it weigh nothing.

I laugh on the weight thing. You always hear guys on here complaining that this sled weighs "X" more than that sled, but some of those same guys weigh 250+ pounds! LOL

I would have to guess there will be some pissed of people who spent that 7K for the other brand kits that are even heavier!.. I love this kit. I will have one as soon as they arrive at my buds shop! Cant wait!

oh.. and that sidehill action then turn up the hill and climb.. that was sick.. gotta love climbin those gob piles. A reg bike would never do that. :) :)

Sorry you don't like my comments. It's just not practical for me. And frankly it as many draw backs, some have been mentioned.I have dirt bike. I have a snowmobile. like a guy said, If you have a dirt bike and it cost 3K to convert wtf is the point. For 3 grand you can go buy a decent and fun snowmachine.
It is going to put much more stress on your dirt bike motor, which you will have to fix sooner than usual. 38 pound is real weight. I see people on here spend big $$$ to shed 25lbs of a sled. It robs mass power to move the track and all the other moving parts and so on. Sorry but there are too many down sides to a neat idea/product. I'm sure it's fun and many people probably love it.
It's just not for me.

Do you just make these posts here, or are you flooding the motocross bike boards too? I would think they're more of your target market than Snowest.

well said godeep, when i asked my rider to do that he looked at me funny, but said ok ill try it, when he came back around, he had the biggest smile on his face. but that was the impressive thing to me as well for a stock 450 to do, thanks for noticing, and who will be your local dealer, give them a plug!
thanks

btw, we are still looking for dealers!
