I am not an Obama supporter, although I will say he is the best democrat we could have hoped for, but give the guy a break. He was dealt about the ****tiest hand he could get and is trying to make the best of it. Dont blame him for this ****!!

I just want to know where my $7500 tax credit is for paying my ****ing mortgage!! What about pumping money into private industry and not just covering their *** by supporting government jobs.

We have been slow for almost two years and we just layed off 1/3 of our work force and looking to layoff again if things don't pick up. They cut our hours to 32 and don't know for how long. I would be out of sledding next year or out of a job if it continues.

Not a vision, a reality that we are accepting. Preparation is key to survival of what is coming as is constantly preached to me from my elders that have experienced where we are headed. If you don not believe, go ask your great grandma (or anyones great grandma) and take heed to their advice young man!

The only reason I haved been able to go this year is bacause my buddy gets me all the free av gas I want so all I really have to pay for is oil and fuel to get to the trail head. I have been going to riding areas closer to home and havent offered to drive every time like most years.

Unfortunatly being one of the several hundred out of a job in my area I think the sled might have to be parted out in summer unless things start to look up soon.

WTF are you talking about???? Have you been out of your cave lately? I try not to be a pessimistic cause it makes me sick how FKED I will be if things don't turn around! I am a developer. And right now people can't REFI their GD house let alone qualify for a new one!!! Everyone I know in real estate/dev/construction/ anything related to a friggen house...ALL those guys are chitten bricks right now. WHY cause there is NO WORK...NONE!!

So to say what you said is a bunch of crap!!! Smiles and giggle don't mean chit if the work is not there!!

Obama is making fertilizer out of chit…this is what he was given and seems to be doing fine thus far. Dumping a Trillion bucks in the market will temporarily reduce out rapid downfall. Do nothing, and we will all be moving to mexico next week. The real problem is corporate america and Big Banks…they got us here (yes they did) and I strongly feel Obama is the only guy that will stand up to them. All that said, and I voted for McCain….chit changes people, move on and deal with what ya got….life is way more cool this way

I work for corporate greed and see chit that makes my blood boil….but what can I do? I voice my thoughts and get a blank stare…im ok with that

I also work for someone who laid off a few thousand people this year....and i still got a 13% bonus, makes me feel like crap!....once again, corprate greed will shapen the ax at any moment to save 4 dollars...and crush a few thousand families at the same time. but what can my "nobody" self do about it?...get a degree, find an empoyeer that dont lay folks off much, and hope for the best

I know up here in Alaska, it isn't so bad. Our economy is moving just fine ( thank god for Sara Palin). Our home builders are the only industry that is in trouble, so I feel for you. I too am a contractor but do mainly state, city, or fed work. They had five years or so of building and selling so many houses they could hardly keep up. Now They built too many and there is nothing for them to do. Most of my friends either subs or generals in the residential market have taken on other professions. Hector I hope everything works out for you! As do I hope for everyne that is having a rough time right now. Hopefully our economy will turn around within the next 6 months. Banks control Banks, period!....the home building market was a chart that had a red line pointing straight up for so long, banks and every greedy corporations feels they need to exceed profits every quarter/year or everything is a complete failure and people get fired…unfortunately this is the way it is.

Yes Clinton backed the banks to draw up fishy loans/primes/ect to make his term look better on paper…..but the real evil is the banks who helped us get here. We cant blame stupid people for getting loans they can not afford…big biz feeds on stupid people aka “advertising”

We can spin this thing to whatever you see fit….the fact remains, greedy biz got us here. All we can do is realize it and voice the truth (or what we see as the truth)??
