Thinking about doing so mods to my M7

I just got back from the snowies with my bone stock M7. I'm looking to do a few inexpensive mods like the snopro intake, spi y pipe and an offset timing key. Any one else got any ideas? It has an fairly new attack 20 153in track on and and was think about selling it and looking for a maverick or powder claw. Any ideas would be apperciated.
Thanks

I've got snow eliminators, hand guards, slp intake kit, d&d y pipe, two wheel kit, 2cool vents, powder pros, rk tek secondary kit, and a few other things on my m7. Rk tek secondary kit and snow eliminators have been the best mods so far. :)

I haven't ridden the powerclaw, yet, but from reports, it's high on the list for next "mod", though my A20 hasn't been bad, but it is showing it's age, now.

Here's my list for best mods to my M7. 1) clutching; 2) snow eliminators; 3) fuel pressure mod; 4) rear suspension float conversion (but before that, it was the Holz brackets, that are necessary to do the float conversion on M7, unless you put on late model slide rails). Also very high on the list, 2" riser, 2 wheel rear axle, snow-pro front bra (keep snow out of the nose), cat handlebar bag and skinz windshield bag, for dry storage, and custom stainless cooker on the can (best place for an Msled cooker, I think). Not so impressive were the C&A pro skis...don't see what all the shouting is about...can't hardly tell the difference from stock.

"snopro intake, spi y pipe and an offset timing key"

None of these will help, only hurt. Put your money where it gains the most. Get a good cannister, helix-weights and different springs, vented side panels or mesh hood, fuel management box, snow eliminators, holz brackets, and some bling:)

If your not wanting to put up the cash for a new track, just flip your around into the hillclimb position and then heat the paddles and straightin them. Did it to mine and it made it twicw as good.

I too straightened my A20 paddles and it's twice the track it used to be. Riding buddy has same sled with a powderclaw and on harder snow (not powder I know the p-claw is better there) they hook up close to the same.

You'll get a ton of opinions on this one.....here's my take so far.
Holz Rear susp relocate bracket, absolutely necessary! Also read up on the Geo Mods for the rear susp. Good theory, seems to work, can't remember sh!t otherwise. Free mods too.
Offset timing key. I went 2deg advanced, against the recomendation of Eric at Vohk. It works for my sled (fuel pressure has alot to do with it I think). It cleared up a low/mid bog.
87 octane on a stock motor, hell that saves you money. Mine don't run as good on 91.
Brace the running boards! Unless you ride like a little girl or only weigh 100#.
Otherwise you'll be straightening/buying new edges.
Had a cut, straightened, flipped, twisted, modded, blah, blah A 20 when I bought it. $200 for a new Nytro take off Maverick (got $150 for the old POS track) is very nice. Has held up well for 400mi now. Very good in the deep. OK on the trail, worth $50!
Ice scratchers, although it does suprisingly well on harder snow w/o them, it saves the hyfax and sometimes is necessary in order to ride without melting the sliders and overheating (on ice).
Rem extra idler wheels. Free, saves a cpl lbs. Hyfax have 1500 mi now and look good still.
Clutching, always helps. Mine's stock, 'cause half the time it pulls a trailer, so it's not exactly hi markin. Although pulling the sno coach w/ 2 kids in it gives it a harder workout than I ever could by muself.
New Can, lose the weight.

Put some vents on it, a can and clutching. I had a 2.5 degree timing key but removed it because it stumbled on the bottom end with it, yours might act different but everybody ive talked to say no to the timing key for the same reason. Awsome sled, just pull the trigger and ride her hard.:beer;:beer;

me too!

I bought an 06 M7 this year, switching from Polaris, and I love it! The best mods I have are sno-eliminators(a must), 3 in. riser(I'm 6'1"), side vents, Simmons skiis, 2 wheel kit(billet alum.), can, and slp intake. I also put a stiffer spring in the primary. I had a bog aroung 4000 rpm, and this took care of it. It now engages at 4500, and runs awesome. I love the set up now, just need a boss seat. I'm keeping the rest of the mods to a minimum because it runs so good now. I don't want to be tinkering with it. Pull the rope and go. I would like to do the powerclaw. Read a lot of good things about it. Probably better idea than engine mods, and obviously more reliable.
P.S. I'm a banshee man too!
