Just a question for SnoWest Members:

How passionate are YOU about your 2nd Amendment Rights?

How important to you is the coming Gun Ban debate?

For me its a HUGE deal and I spend a good amount of time every day working on this topic off of SnoWest. But I am curious how many others on SnoWest feel the same way?

I would give up sledding and never step foot on the snow again before I would voluntarily surrender my weapons..

What say you?

and it has taken after us. We(as a nation) are obese and always buy more than we can afford. Well, I doubt your gonna hear that the gov't is too small or doesn't spend enough...

Time to clean house! We need to start finding candidates that can replace these sorry politicians. Perhaps we need to find people who aren't looking to run, but could do a good job and start nominating better candidates? I still cannot believe Romney got the go ahead outta the republicans!

Just about sums it up in my opinion.

if a license is permission. Then it follows that WE must have ASKED for permission. Permission is seldom given unless someone requests it. Who normally asks for permission? Children, ask for permission (search Parens Patriae) you become a ward of the government, a child of the Province. Incompetents ask for permission. Someone incapable of handling their own affairs or who are not in control, ask for permission. Ask yourself who established government, and who has authority over government? WE DO! we just don't take the time to recognize we poses that authority, in fact we have been taught to believe that it is the government that has authority over us. That is why we ask for permission to engage in LAWFUL acts?

Licenses are: a) a form of tax. b) a way of controlling our lives. Everything you can do legally with a permit or license you can do lawfully without a permit or license. You can feed your family (a natural lawful act) without a permit / business license. why? Because it is one of your basic human inalienable rights (the right to property, or as Americans term it the Pursuit of Happiness) the right to work, and enjoy the fruits of your labour /labor.

If you were like me you wouldn't have any weapons to voluntarily surrender. Makes life easier that way.

Im simply not going to get worked up over something that wont change anything. Im not registering, they cant take my rights away from me period end of story. No worries! this is another issue that if you think signing petions writing your congressmen etc. will do one dam bit of good you need your head examined. Since when did the goverment respond to logic ,fact or the will of the people ? Never

Oh yes, they CAN take them away from you.
They can make you a FELON and cast you into PRISON.

The Right may be GOD GIVEN, but unless you actively defend it, they WILL deny it to you.

I started this thread just to get a sense of the interest level for such things on SnoWest. I expected it would be VERY low, and that has proven to be the case.

I am a pretty HARD CORE gun rights advocate and spend a good portion of my time out there on the net promoting gun rights.

Most of what I have chosen to work on is graphical in nature.
I have found that an picture really is worth a thousand words.
