Help Ive gone to Puppy Hell

Went on a 4 day 24 mile hike with the kids and my newer dog.
almost 2 YO newfie, havent had him quite a year yet.

Poor guy thought he was being abused. He'd hit camp and collapse, then stay up half the night barking at every little noise. I think the idiot is afraid of the dark. gonna keep him around though. not too bad of a mutt.
