In other threads about big chutes being pulled...I recognized some of the pulls and chutes from old videos that recently got named by guys who pulled them this past month. Weird.

The start of this thread was one of the best to be nominated for the "headinass" award. For some to say someone is loud only says they are quite. Maybe quite people need to show a bit more energy and become louder, It is funny how so many think that if someone is not like them or their minds ideal personality then they are wrong. If more people showed the passion he shows for this sport we would be a lot better off....
What one athelete can do today may be what they cant do tomorrow..they push themselves to the limit..they are edge walkers so to speak....Take the Olympics for example...all the contenders there have a good chance of taking home the Gold...however their are only three winners of medals...does that make the rest losers?...well not really...not at that level of compitition...some were just better on that day...do the same thing a week later and many of the medals would go to completely different people. i have seen 3rd deg black belts in Judo get beat by a lonely Brown belt in competition...if they were givin the chance to have a rematch the outcome may be very different!!
If "Exman" wants his "idol" to be a winner this bad maybe we should come up with a new award...heck call it the Exmanny's..have a trophy of a ..well never mind..I wont get started here..this is going south real fast.
Dan shows passion for what he does..he puts energy into what he does and shows his heart to the public. What you see is what you get....In my realm of friends that have watched my TS videos, Dan is the highlite of the video. I can only watch so much hillclimbing before it gets boaring...without some "personality" in a film it would be just another boaring documentary.

I will use this thread as a plug for what a great rider the Krazy Canadian is.
in fact the only thing he doesnt do on a sled is drop cornices... LOL funny story on why...
but seriously i have seen the chute in person... YIKES! I attached a picture from the top... those of you who still doubt the extreme nature of this climb need to be smacked!
I have no doubt in my mind that given the right day and circumstances burandt would attempt the chute.
Now back to the movies and pass the popcorn!

Holy shizzo. I got butterflies just looking at the pic. That guy looks like he's settin himself up for a fast ride to the bottom if the edge gives way.
BTW: Biggest waste of a thread I've seen. We need to stop responding and let this one die before somebody else looses an hour of their life that you can't get back.

i dont know how you could possibly have the balls to start a thread about how dan doesnt deserve the award like this guy is amazing. dont get me wrong burdant rips to but dan has balls of steel. and then you go and say to veedy " the only award you get would be for the most yamahas filmed" well the movie is called "boost" and mostly the boosted sleds and fourstrokes. ur stupid and need to give ur head a shake. ur probably the guy that sits in the chalet all day while the real men go and climb. CONGRATS ON THE AWARD DAN YOU DESERVE IT. that chute in ts6 is a pretty epic feat like you said it would be in the movie! oh and one more thing dan did you name that chute or is it called the norns chute?

That looks like a fun chute. I have seen the video but can't remember if the exit at the top was the right or left line. How do you get off of the ridge? I would love to try this chute, hopefully I get the chance next year. I am assuming it is in southern B.C. somewhere. Awesome pull Dan, it deserves some props for sure.

Thanks for all the support everyone! Makes a guy feel good to know some have his back... Very much appreciated.... Correction though... I only came down from 3/4.. screwed up and road it out,, my second attempt was all the way out, and I dropped over the back side down a smaller chute... never named it... It's cool all these names for epic chutes,,, lets call it the poop chute,,, cuz I crapped my pants coming down from 3/4.. I'd love to have a bunch of Krazy's climb it next year.... call me first though,,, I wanna watch!!!

Thanks to all the video producers for bringing these great talents to my living room when there is no snow on the ground! i got a vid of it ill post,and one of when shane got stuck,ill have to find them!!i was there to whatch those pull's and they were nuts!!!

I have about 20 or so smb vids at my house and Dan is definately my favorite rider to watch on all of them. Not taking anything away from any of the other riders either though. I can only hope that some day I can be a fraction of the rider that anybody in these vids are. Thanks to all for showing me how a sled is supposed to be ridden
