Here's a pic from tonight's ride.

We got over 10 miles in for our first ride of the year and our first ride in September ever. Road riding for sure but it was a ride. Close to a foot at Eagles Nest and probably a foot and a half near Darland.:face-icon-small-ton

Damn, I need to spend some more time on the forum and get to know some people. I thought I was still 2+ months out before any riding. Obviously I need to expand my riding areas! :face-icon-small-hap

This is soooooooooooooooo AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I need to get my sled together so I can do this! Think the snow will stick or is it gone already?

Has anyone been to the snopark today 11-16-13?
Just curious if we can unload at the snopark

Tampico.
Everyone can thank 94fordguy for the post.
He made it himself, and planted it last Saturday 11-30-13.
It is 16ft tall and has Old Glory up top.

Did the flag itself look OK after it's first week in the hills????

It was sleeping it looked very restful. Lol
Dont drop into the hills below that one. Its only 4in on top of ice.
We need another ft or 2 to get more riding available.
There was a dozen other people up there and tracks before us.
Drive 2wd all the way to treephones and There is barely enough snow to unload.
In all of our fun places the snow was deep enough and sometimes too deep! But still hitting rocks, small stumps and branches just barely covered and without a 'hump' to warn u.
We skipped alot so I know u will still find alot of untouched.;-)

I luv my new ride. It luvs the deep snow! Down hill is scary though.

Ahtanum Winter Recreation "Sno-Park" update

Was 8F and snowing this morning (12/06/13). Probably 1.5-2" of new, very light snow. 2-3" total on ground.

Here is a link for the new Ahtanum Groomer and his reports on Google Groups for the upcoming season:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/ahtanum-grooming-report

The new groomer is R & R Grooming (Ron Lind). He will be running a larger machine than the previous contractor. Ron has already been to the first grooming meeting and a couple Ski-Bender meetings and is active in our sport! We look forward to having R & R Grooming in the Ahtanum!:face-icon-small-hap
