Here's some info...now that I am done laughing my azz off at the pole jokes...too funny guys
Not a single issue with my XP after 650 miles, but i did make some changes before I ever rode it.
Changed up the secondary clutch...as BRP has never impressed me with their TRA system. Went with a Team again and it works great. Changed up the belt from the 166 as soon as the new 377 came out, however I never blew a belt.
Had the driveshaft welded last week only for added insurance as I have read a few horror stories of guys breaking them...way back in the mountains..no thanks
Changed the upper gear to a 19T.
All of these changes (except the secondary) were done at NO CHARGE by the dealer.
As for reliability ... I have talked to several dealers to find out what problems guys are actually having so I could fix potential issues...rather than have issues. One shop that has sold dozens of them has not seen a single return for anything except a few blown belts...
Great sled to say the least...best machine I have ever owned...
Do not buy into all the BS that people throw on here. I think most of the crap is form the same few dorks...that wish they had perhaps bought one
If you talk to some of the top performance shops...or several dealers...I think you will get sound advice that you can believe in.
