T3 174 bent tunnel from dealer.

I like the idea of a HD bumper and some other compensation that would be of value to you. Good on the dealer for steping up, but if this is something you could live with I would see what your options are or if they can find a replacment sled.

Agreed it -looks- easy to ding it back straight from the inside --> out, and put a bigger bumper on it to further clamp it straight. Only foul might be a few little lines in the finish.

I understand wanting it in pristine condition, but if you can live with it, and get some $$$ and a free bumper....could wind up a good deal for you (depending how much $$)....if you're in to that kinda thing. I also understand wanting it pristine for day 1 tho.

I may end up keeping it after getting a better deal from the dealer who has been very helpful! First I will check everything over. Also am wondering if serious vibration is normal while idling obviously in break in still. They also added oil to a half tank of gas and told me it was mixed for a full tank so I should add gas. Hope this was correct?

Listen to your gut

I think it may be worth keeping for the right deal. The question is what is the right deal for you and the dealer? If you can get a worth while deal and keep it you may be money ahead and if you end up in a wreck you will be fully compensated by your insurance too providing that you have full coverage?

Frame

174 Frame is $2900 + labor. If the delivering dealer can make the previous mistake: What assurance can you get that the bleeding has stopped?
Now if you put two 5 gallon jerry cans on the tunnel and were doing 30 FT drops that would be abuse. What now?

The oil added to the tank of gas went away in 2010 for skidoos. starting to think your dealer might not be up to speed on how things work and maybe that's why you have a problem just my opinion.

Should I remove it? Does it hurt anything?? I'm thinking the same thing at this point..
