No, it is a brand new sled, it needs to be delivered in new condition. I originally thought that you rode it after skimming the post, but 0 miles, it is a slam dunk. If the dealer doesn't take care of it, Skidoo better.
Hard solution though, either they give you a discount/cash back to make it worth it to you, or they put another sled together for you and swap. (My choice.) Plus some store credit to compensate for gas on your end. You have to remember resale value, if you never ever wreck it, when you go to sell it, it has a crimpled tunnel.
Like you said, $15K, it had better not have a scratch on it.
Good example: When I bought my 13 XM, here in McCall, it had a very very small scratch on the top of the tunnel where a tech must have set something down. The sales guy was LIVID, really unhappy about it, and I got a smoking deal on it to begin with. I did get a deal so wasn't to concerned, but that is how a dealer SHOULD be about a new sled. Think a Ford dealer would deliver an F150 with a scratched fender????
