sx600R can i long track it

Its a 2000 sx600r i want to know if i can long track it and if theres anything else i should do to it. I just bought it and its all stock.

Sure you can. Hartman and MPI have kits ready to go. Or you can find a good used track here, and swap in a Cat, Doo, Poo, skid and improve the sleds snow ability over the stock rear suspension. Lots of motor upgrades available too. You won't get quite the jam out of them that you would by starting with a 700, but basically whatever applies to the 700 redhead motor can be done to the 600.

i'd look for a MM600 whole front end at a snowmobile junk yard of some sort, few inches narrower i think. cut off the sway bar too. makes a world of difference on those ol' yami trailing arm sleds did it to both of my mountain max's

I have everything you need to convert your sled to a 141. I am modding my sons '00 600 MM. If your not in too much of a rush as I had shoulder surgery so I can't do anything for another month or so...................SRXtreme

my last sled was a 600 sxr heres what i did and i worked great
144' track
u will need to go to 8 inch driver to clear a 2 inch paddle
rail extensions
cut out tunnel guards on the inside of tunnel top and front
get rid of the transfer rods and go to a limiter strap, way more weight transfer for powder riding and will wheelie til u let off
get rid of the sway bar thats a start
