switchback 600

i currently ride a 99 indy 600 but i'm looking at upgrading, i found a 07 switchback 600 but how are they, i heard they have crappy throttle response and their heavy to throw around, is this true, how would it handle compared to my old indy?

Handling can be improved greatly by upgrading to 2008 thru 2010 spindles. Holz also made some but finding them might be hard. Throttle response might have a small hitch in mid range a little clutch and or gearing for your area and style should mask it.

I have a 2007 Switchback 600 HO.
I cannot compare it to a lot of other sleds because I have not ridden a lot of other sleds, but I like this snowmobile. I have no complaints about the throttle responce.
I mainly ride trails and some off trail powder.

I have a 2006 and it's heavier than a 2007. The first time I rode this sled I came from a 2000 XC and the switchback felt light as a feather because of how much better the chassis is. Steering can be improved with newer spindles like it was mentioned or aftermarket skis. These sleds do great offtrail with the 144'' track.

You won't remember the '99 sled after a few laps on the '07. No comparison. 550iq

600 Switchback

I have the 09 RMK 600 Switchback and the 09 RMK Assault. The SB is light and fun. Upgrade you spindles, A-arms, and Shocks. You will never look back.

'06 600 RMK. Strong reliable motor, good chassis. I've never bothered with newer spindles as I just cope but it is a terrific sled. Enjoy it.
