Supercharger build cont.

I was able to finish all my wiring yesterday for my AFR gauge and POD-300. I ran the cables for the PCV and POD-300 up to the steering post for easy access if I need to adjust my fuel.

sweet build TM let me know what you learn on the fuel map please. and thanks for the idea on the pcv cord up the post dam good thinkn fo sho.

I also got the call from Speedwerx that the Procharger had arrived. Apparently Procharger had quite the backorder on these things.

Picture of Procharger and support bracing that attaches to the top portion of the supercharger bracket.

The supercharger need to be clocked to the correct position, this allows the hoses to line up correctly. You need to loosen the three (3) bolt that hold the tow halves together.

Then place the supercharger in the bracket and install a bolt to hold it securely in place. Then install the hose on the supercharger outlet to the intercooler. Make reference marks so you know where things need to line up.

You will have to completely remove the single bolt and reposition it in a different hole to allow the supercharger to rotate to the correct position. I also repositioned the other bolts and plate so I would have clamping pressure on both side so the assembly. If you leave the two (2) hole place in its original position all the clamping force ends up on one side. Probably not a good idea in my opinion.

Then remove the dipstick and fill with one (1) 2.5 fluid ounce bottle of oil. The kit comes with four (4) bottles. It recommended to change the oil every 500 miles.

In the above pictures you can see the support bracing installed. I already had the mounting bracket installed on the inner y-pipe bolts and it wasn't in the main picture of parts.

Y-pipe bracket for the front support brace.

Charge tube installed.

Just got 4 more ordered! One has been installed on a 14 so far. I was sold after one ride to tog last year. Great system, instant throttle response

haha yea I've got some suspension set up to do. hoping to do a full fox air evo swap in the skid and up front then run a skinz arc set up to control the ski lift issue....

i do have a ovs wheelie stop in it now and it works great but not being able to adjust on the fly really sucks so i kinda set it up so i still get lift but it stays down enough that I'm not completely out of control:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap

They doing anything with the exhaust to help keep the back pressure in the pipe? I know guys have talked about supercharging on a 2-stroke for years, but everyone said it was very difficult to keep the back pressure in the pipe like a turbo does. Speed we're got something in the exhaust?

Nothing different that I'm aware of.
