super lightweight pro

AK... thanks for the heads up... didn't read the FB page.

What I'd like to see in a lightweight sled.

Polaris could make an entry level fan cooled sled with current parts on hand.
Get the kids and smaller riders back into sledding!!

PRO-FAN 146" 550cc
2" 146" single ply track
Powder track running boards
Std Fox floats Fr/rear
RMK suspension
Stand up steering
RMK shorter seat.
Pivot steering post for easy height adjustments.
Quick drive with no center driver (not needed with lower hp)

I see a 380 lb sled possible for not a huge outlay from the factory.
Remember... there is no cooler in the tunnel and no coolant/pumps/ecu/injectors etc... super simple and would be a total GAS to ride.

They would snow check plenty of these... heck, give a 146" x 2.4" paddle as an option.

Exactly, but I would also add a 36" front end. Motor cycles and four wheelers make stuff for kids. Why can't the sled industry.

YEP.. .THE INDY 144...Not a lightweight package though.... and sitdown steering angles...Lots of potential for LW faner with ALL existing factory parts.

The carbed 800 mono block conversion is riddled with problems. Haven't seen one with more than 500 miles on it with out a rebuild. I am sure they are out there but just have seen and towed to many out to have complete faith in them. My biggest complaint with the pro chassis is snow and ice build up on the tunnel. My assault ready to ride, full of fuel/oil spare belt, tools etc..

There is one reader with an 156 X3 equipped, Carbon and Ti PRO came in at 384 wet/no gas on accurate race scales. Maybe he'll chime in here

Take off heavy track and drivers... 470 is possible.

Go with WE airs and a carbon tunnel and rails... 350-360.. Wet/no gas.

Do the carbed version... I see 345 possible.

I think that Burandt's 399 lb turbo was Dry/Dry (like the factory measures)

That's just crazy.
