Stoping dogs from digging.

Mouse traps cured my dog of getting in the garbage can!! Once he gets a trap stuck to his nose he'll stop.

Thanks for all the info guys. Tried the dog poo thing didnt work. Gonna try the cayenne pepper thing. Neighbor kid moved so i dont have to worry about that anymore. I dont give her bones either. Hope the pepper works or she is going to find a new home.

my dog doesnt dig..but when ever I have a problem with a dog..I do it the way they do it..when you catch them doing something wrong..grab them by the scruff of their neck, and a front paw..roll them on their back, while holding by the scruff under their mouth..bend over real close looking them in the eye the whole time, and tell them no..bad dog....works really good and normally a few times makes them stop doing whatever they were doing....

neighbors dog used to come over and dig up a freshly planted garden. shot her in the *** with a pellet gun. no more digging and she stayed home!

yes I am cruel some times (I was raised on a large ranch). but when I tell that dog to GET! she runs. The owners however cant get her to do anything but bark at the passing cars

Dogs are like kids, they all need a little a$$ whooping occasionally. If more people did that I believe there would be fewer problems nowadays. When I screwed up as a kid, I got an a$$ whooping and I usually didn't do it again. Notice I said usually.
