steep n deep track speed

I ride at 10K and my track speed is 95 mph!! in deep powder!!! NOT!

In 2-4 ft of powder I will be around 38-44 depending on how steep it is..
Track speeds are GAY..
All I care about is if I out climbed my buddies.

Yea well you are gonna need track speed to do that bubba

Sure... But there are way to many factors that come into play to compare track speed on a forum..
ie.. Snow conditions, wet snow, dry snow, North facing slopes vs South facing East vs West, sunny, cloudy crusty, 1" of new or is it 3' of powder? Has the wind set up the snow? Elevation will also play a part in speed, a 1000 feet will effect your speed. How about engine temp? What degree of slope are you riding? I can go 60+ mph on what some people would call a hill or I can go 38 mph on what I call a hill.

To easy to think that someone else's set up is better.

So thats why I think comparing track speeds are GAY!
To each his own..

my track speeds are in the mid to high thirtys and my clutching is horrible on most steep hills in untracked snow im only reving 7600-7700 i ride mostly at 9000 ft and i still blow the xp's i ride with out of the water alot of time they have trouble in my tracks or cant even go in my track none of them are e-tecs though no body in my area bought new ski-doos i cant wait to clutching dialed

Wow, 58MPH. That is approaching turbo track speed in our country. 10-12K'.

My Pro is around 40MPH on what I call a steep, deep pull.

Sam

Gotta love the power at sea level.

I have an 08 700/155 with BMP pipe, SLP can, PC5, & F-Bomb mod as well as a Pro 155. Both consistantly pull 58+/-in deep sparkling wine powder. Indeed this years snow has been so light compared to usual. Sucks plowing snow over the hood and feeling gravel under your skis!!!!

Has anyone tried lower gearing, dropping to a 19 t top gear 20/42 seems pretty good combo but lower gearing would help with belt heat and poss pickup track speed . Best I have got is about 39-40 mph with 163 track and stock stock clutching except 62 gram belly buster 8150-8250 @ 7000 ft

Ill do that as soon as you stop with the idiotic posts. Unless you are 125 lbs and the guys on the xps were 300lbs you are full of it

If you post something a foolish as you did, somesone should call BS. A stock proride only turning 7700RPM is not going to out run an XP as bad as you stated. I have a Proride and had an XP.

yes it did but the xp pulled a plugwire to make it fair:cheer2:

I checked again over the weekend. In set up, layered snow ranging from 1 to 2 foot deep with a solid base, I am getting between 44-48 mph. Turning 8250-8300 RPM with the competition track on my Assault. 19/42 gearing, Team Tied clutch, MTX 68 weights. 1500-4000 ft elevation. This sled is pretty dialed, and I am not bragging aimlessly when I say I am consistently outclimbing well set up XPs.

Not to be a d1ck, but you should try a period or two in your posts bud.

With all the helmet cams that people have...why not take video showing the hill you are climbing and then look down at your speed/rpm's and show it...even a still shot for that matter could potentially work.

That might mitigate some of the crack :smokin: that is going on.
