Stay off the hills..

Hey no problem. You might have been talking to my kid. He is only 17 and seriously probably doesn't even know what a Timberskid is. Besides he is pretty shy with people he doesn't know. maybe you were talking to Scooter, he always just has a blank look or a smile....and can't talk to good.:face-icon-small-win
If you see us out there again, come over and say hi, and you can check out the sleds.:beer;

It was a black nytro with blue CR tunel and 174" track, but that dosen't matter it was probably a miss understanding, I appoligize and hope to see you out there some day and we can have a beer and look at sleds:beer;

I know nothing of this. Was our trailer a Gooseneck Featherlight trailer hooked to a Dodge? We have no secrets except what is done to our motors. In my opinion a timberskid is not suitable for a turbo fourstroke application. This is just my opinion, and this is in comparison to the M-10 skids that we are using. I will always offer advice when asked...just look at most of my posts, they are offering technical info too try and help other guys out. We all run turbo 4 strokes and do all of our own work (except motor) so we have learned alot about what works and what doesn't. If you guys have any questions then let me know.:beer;

NM
your a hard learner, because TJ still has doo skid..I think neil should buy a round for everyone, and we will dicuss his actions....... LOL

i still wanna ride this year..spent wayyy to much money on my sled not to ride it! i was burried on new years day, only thing sticking out of the snow was my hand. so needless to say i got lucky!!! no beacon and no abs, and yes i am an idiot!!! and a little bitt gun shy now too. however i think if a guy is super carefull and doesnt pull any hills that have not yet slid, then u might still be able to have some fun and actually pull some chit....correct me if im wrong. im no expert on avalanches. all i know is its pretty freaky being burried alive.

Some how I don't think you have learned your lesson yet:rolleyes:...... but I will pray for you! Be patient, take an avy course in the mean time..... live to ride another day and you will get plenty of opportunity to ride your new buggy.:)

Very good thread Stray. I'm waiting on the spring riding, not worth it, I know the kind of temptation there is sitting at the base of a chute with 330 HP idleing. Better to just stay away when it's this dangerous. Besides just can't handle the thought of another man raising my kids and banging my wife because of a stupid decision I made in the mountains.

too true, and well put. good to see you know yourself that well and are wise enough to not put temptation in your lap.

I will be thinking of "that other man" next time I ride. (that bastard)lol
Actually I have some writing on the dash of my truck, it reads "we love you daddy", that keeps my head level. thinking of getting a sticker made for my sled dash.
