starting to wish i never did a turbo

Running good stock still does not elimnate the possibility of a weak fuel pump. With the kit installed when the secondary injectors start delivering fuel it could be possible that the pump is not keeping up. Did you run it with a fuel pressure gauge routed up by the handlebars to see if the pressure is holding when it falls on its face. Just a thought, I know how frustrating it can be, good luck.

as stated in an earlier post.. took my buddys perfectly fine running silber turbo 2012 fuel tank off his sled and installed on mine and same problem..

Sorry I read all the posts, just missed that in the first one. Did you try your buddies coils? I had my d7 turbo get one weak coil and would missfire under boost?

it sound to me like your box is not sensing boost & adding fuel once boost comes on,iam guessing at 6500rpm you are just starting to build good boost.

Check the secondary injector connectors on the dobeck box. I had a problem last year and it ended up being a connection issue. When the harness was assembled, the pins weren't pushed all the way into the connector until they "clicked" into place. When I plugged the harness onto the secondary injectors, it pushed the pin out of the mag side connector and that injector would never fire. The sled would cut out and hit det when boost started to build. Once I found that problem, it ran great.

Connection on the secondary's are good. Checked pins .. As far s ignition coils I installed 2 brand new ones no too long ago. I think my secondary's are shot.

jeepin... i could do that but why? do you think the turbo is the issue or even the waste gate on the turbo??

sounds to me like your secondaries arnt working because it falls on its face as boost builds.if you watch your a/f gauge & boost gauge they will both climb together,as boost builds your a/f will climb till it goes full lean.a boost leak can cause a similar issue because your box will not sense boost & wont add fuel.

fuel regulator

just wondering if u tested ur fuel regulator and made sure the pressure went up with the boost. you could have supplied power to your power test port on the sled and with a air compressor and air regulator to test that the fuel pressure by supplying pressure to boost reference. should go up with boost or even went high enough i do believe its a 1:1 ratio on the kit but may be wrong on that but i read a bit and seen no interest in the fuel regulator trouble shooting. Or i should add that your boost reference to the reg could be no good as well.
Boost is great hope you can get this unit rollin.

I had the same problem yesterday first ride but I did the fix kit and had to take it to dealer for a new fuel pump because I keep on getting low voltage but to your problem mine would fall flat on it's face at about 6500 like it was getting to much fuel so I took the red and brought it back to 1 and it started running good but after an hour or so I needed to adjust the red back slowly went up to 3.5 everything seems to be working good hitting hard. Now I need to figure out about the low voltage.

as far as fuel pressure regulator there isnt one on the silber kit.. and if there is supose to be then i dont have one..just the stock one in the tank.

i too am kinda thinking maybe a voltage thing. but just dont know where to start looking took the sled out yesterday for 10 miles and pulls good a little flat around 8000-8200 it seems to not bog but just loose a little..

but i still have my turbo spark plugs in and a full tank of 105 octane race fuel..
so last night got new stock plugs and i will drain all the race fuel out and put some fresh 91 today and go again.

it seemed to only go flat when i had the trck under load like doing dounuts and boondocking in deep snow pinned. wouldnt do it 3/4 throttle so i think it will be gone after i put the plugs and 91 fuel in.. what do you guys think?
