well i am having more issues with my 2012 rmk pro silber turbo.been out to the mountains 4 times this season and they have all been tearable. well it falls on its face at wot and around 6000 rpm -6800rpm
goes right lean stays running but have to ride her under 6000 rpm to ride.
spark plugs are a nice chocolate color so thats good. after the second trip i installed new fuel injectors(stock ones).that didnt change.. tried my buddys fuel tank, incase it was it was the fuel pump guess what same issue.
the kit has been on my new motor for 300 miles and 150 have been bad.
on the first motor i had some issues but they were small quarks needed to be figured out.. the kit is running 6-8 lbs of boost at 3-7000 ft running 105 octane fuel.i really love the wifes stock except for a hps can 2013 rmk pro 800 it rips.

so should i sell the kit and try something else or should i just go back to stock?
oh yeah have a big trip jan 5-14 so i need this running right. thanks guys for reading my rant i am just so discouraged about this..

Haha post goes great with your name....

I know it can be frustrating at times, but when running right they are so worth it.

My geography of Canada isn't that great so here's the list of Silber dealers http://www.silberturbos.com/dealers Give the one of them who is closest to you a call and see if they can meet you somewhere for a ride. Next level powersports is also an amazing help. I've heard watts up toys does a lot of buisness up there as well as lacustoms ( http://lacustoms.ca/?page_id=179 ). I don't know that they sell Silber but they ride them and know their stuff.

What settings have you been changing on your box? Did you do your own install?

Just trying to get some more info to see if anyone can help.

what are your numbers on your box set at? me an my buddy have 2012 silber pros and have had minor ( tuning on the go ) issues. can all be sorted out easy enough unless you have an issue somewhere else? i live in grande prairie so our numbers should be compairable somewhat...

When you say "on your first motor" what happened and what did you repair? Just a top end or all the way new? I've seen a broke skirt go through the bottom of the case what kind of damage dd you have?

pressure test the whole system, cap turbo inlet and downpipe and add pressure via an 1/8" line somewhere. do this until it isnt bleeding pressure everywhere as i almost guarantee you do. then post up some more info about the poor running, box settings and im SURE you can get it running just fine.

at least your running proper fuel for your boost and elevation, a good start.

PM me if your going to be around GP. I will give you a hand sorting it out. I had a few hiccups with mine but its very worth getting it sorted out.

Not an expert but thats a lot of octane for 6 to 8 #boost. I run 7 to8 # on 100 LL at mainly 4,000 to 6,000 ft. My nos are 4-4-2-4-2-6. (2013 Pro silber) The first thing I would have cked is the TPS. I have been out twice on mine and it is running really good, just miner ajustments and ride. Sorry about yours but it might not be the turbos fault or just something miner. Who did the install, it can make a diff. Good luck.

ok i installed it myself along with my buddys sled at the same time but i dont think install is the issue since it was running fine at the end of the season. box numbers i talked to justin from silber and we did tuning over the phone in a field
and didnt help.also taled to corey from next level powersports and he has been helping me over the phone the next idea he has for me is replace the box.first motor went due to alot of things lack of oil oiler spring broke. crank bearing went next then the piston ring decided it would like to party with the crank and while on his way to the party he brought some skirt with him. brand new complete motor. can you explain how a pressure test will help my fall on face at 6000-6800 rpm and wot??
on the a/f guage it goes 15-16-17-18-19-20-21-22 real quick thats both times it falls on its face
and thank you all so far. i hope we can figure it out or i will have a silber kit for sale. and i would love to meet up with you gracefull but its pretty f'''ing cold now.
i have to have it figured out soon as i leave for sicamous jan 5
so everyone says to figure it out not going back to stock!

the problem never arouse until this season. ran real strong at 6-7lbs of boost with my octane.. tps is in spec.. as per is the turbo ok?? i think so because i ran problem free mountain miles after new motor install.

an update on my further findings are i cleaned my power valves and they were not bad but did find a tore bellow.. so i replaces and test ride problem still there..dammit.
a guy from gp sent me his old fuel controller that was working on his sled. i wired it in last night and test ride.. not fixxed still falls on its face at 6000-6800
and wot...
any other ideas?? oh i also checked my solinoid that gets boost from the billit boot and sends it out to the controller.. tested it on the bench and it is working corectly

i think i go back to stock the problem will still be there..
but i think the next step is no more turbo go stock

Have you checked fuel filter? Clogged filter not supplying enough fuel causing your lean condition then fall on its face.

I ran half of last season with a toast center section. Checked the shaft play and it felt good after the motor went down, couldn't see any damage from the intake or exhaust housing, but I pulled the hot side off this summer and found some. It's defiantly worth a look, even if its ran since the kaboom.

Fuel filter is good checked that when I did injectors.. As for the turbine wheel it rAn flawlessly Last few rides of the year. And then the first ride of the year this is happening and 2nd 3 rd and 4 ride all the same defiantly the last few. Have been a lot worse.
