There's an update on Matt Potratz on the caring bridge site. www.caringbridge.org/visit/mattpotratz He had surgery trying to repair the nerve damage. It's from last thursday.

Ragged-Going to try and make it up saturday morning for a day ride with you guys. And yes I'll also be on a 4-wheeler. Looking like it'll just be me coming over from the Joe side. I think I'm gonna be wishing I would have purchased a Razor, looks like we might get wet this weekend.

Just a question, but i thought it was illegal to ride side by sides on atv trails. The side by sides are to wide for legally riding on the trails. Am i wrong on this? The law, not if you can physically get them on trails. I know they are legal on roads, but didn't think on designated atv trails.

Put a stalk on this guy in the milo field. You would sit back at a distance and use glasses and the spotting scope to check out the fields at different angles through the day and hope you see some tines movin around. First thing in the morning I saw a few moving around going into the milo to bed, but no huge ones. I set up on a freak, he was only about 18" wide and 26" tall, sticker points and what not. Could of shot him, but a little to far on the wrong side of a fence Found this guy the second day, he laid completely back down after I spotted him and it was windy, so we put a stalk into that area, moving when the wind did. I got to 35 yards and he popped up. Hit him a little far forward he went a little ways and piled up. HARD TO TRACK in the milo. No landmarks and the leaves are huge so you cant see. It was a great hunt. I will be putting in for this one for a while cause its easy on the body, as most Kansas hunts are.

in idaho the side by sides are still legal as long as their less than 60" wide and fit through the gates. there are some power hungry enforcers out there who think otherwise, but as the idaho state law states they are legal as long as they fit through the gates
