Decided on a local bike ride for today. Going from Kettle Falls over Flowery Trail to Newport to CDA then the road that goes around Lake CDA. Hear it's a great ride. Maybe home through Davenport and up the river.

All you CDA locals, please ask all your friends not to run over me, I'm new at this. Griz, can I bring ya some OJ and asprin or do you just need to vomit.

Hey, as long as I'm over that way where do you get tickets to see Sawyers face? Hope your healin up man. EW

Dude I'm tellin ya...it looks exactly like he was in a late 80's early 90's hair metal band. I think he coulda been a shoo-in for AC/DC or Metallica. I bet he know's some sick kung fu though...I bet he has throwing stars in his headband haha

You are too young dude. He doesn't look like a hair band he looks more like the early 90's grunge look. I think he would have fit in more with Pearl Jam

His hair would need to be really big with lots of hairspray and makeup for 80's hair band. Trust me I was there, with hair.

Just for you Sawyer :D

well got some great firewood today but was just a bit hard gettin in there. we made a so-called skid trail from years ago into a road. I was amazed my buddy even tried to get to were we wanted to go. Crazy and almost stupid hill we had to go up and then come back down with a full load on. But how good the wood was, it was totally worth it!:D:beer;

Anyone riding dirtbikes on Monday?

Just got back from a two week "vacation" in Alaska. Worked on the tramway at the Tin City Radar Station, located next to the Bering Straight. Weather was nice 45F, much better than 90. Couple of beautifully clear days, a couple of rainy days, and a bunch of foggy, windy days (wind speeds of 45 mph).

The tramway I was working on. This was the first time I ever saw the whole thing at once

I missed getting good pictures from the very top, but did get a couple of Russia on the horizon

Some abandoned building from the days of mining tin here, hence the name.

This is what the visibility usually was.

He wasn't even born yet when GNR Appetite for Destruction came out! The dance moves that I have pictures of him doing look more like stuff from the Carter Twins or High School Musical.

LMAO:D

Silvergriz, great dirtbike weather though. Don't you have a dirt toy? Taking my teen out on the dirt today. Pretty much be his first time, ought to be fun.

Had a great road ride yesterday. Stopped to harass MotoMikey going through spirit but no luck. The road at exit 22 that goes around Lake CDA to St. Maries was a blast. Harrison must have had 100 bikes in town and some killer ice cream. Stopped to see a bud that just moved to St. Maries and took in a little "Paul Bunyon Days". What a cool celebration, the way small town stuff used to be, not just booths loaded with Taiwan crap. I will be staying for that one next year.

Checked out the CDA Casino, its growing big for a down economy. Too bad we couldn't get everyone in there to donate $1 of their eventual losses to fighting wilderness or curing a disease. Funny what we're willing to throw money at and what we're not.

Went through Airway Heights and had a little China food at Lai Lai Garden. Way scary to look at but great food inside. Who knew. Sorry local cats.

Through a dust storm in Davenport then up the river back to Kettle. I am personally resposible for reducing the overall local bug population by about 500. It was a great day.

As soon as this rain passes I will have a grouse grudge left over from last year. Bet they're scared now. EW

well, i hate 4-strokes.. A LOT.

i traded that pile of **** 250F for a '02 CR250R last night and i'm soooo happy to be back on a 2-stroke.

it had the david bailey graphics kit though :/ not really a fan of it..now i'm stuck with that blue seat cover. oh well... it's an awesome bike other than that.

i'll get pics later.
