10 Ventilation Ports Proper ventilation is more important in a snowmobile helmet, than perhaps any other motorsport. 509 helmets include 5 intake vent ports (three in the mouth piece area, two above the eye port) and 5 exhaust port (2 along the bottom, 2 in the middle, 2 along the top). This 10 piece ventilation system provides a continual flow of cool air, providing a constant comfortable temperature while riding. This system keeps you comfortable by continually exhausting any built up warm air through the rear exhaust ports. This also helps prevent goggle fogging.
Wind GuardThe 509 Evolution helmet comes standard with a built in flexible rubber wind guard. This sleek guard provides an added level of wind protection. In combination with a set of 509 goggles, this wind guard overlaps the goggle's nosemask, providing a double layer of wind stopping protection. No longer will freezing wind reach your cheeks or nose area.
Washable Liner & Cheek PadsAll 509 helmets include a removable snap liner & cheek pads. The liner is made of a triangle tricot brushed material that is hypo-allergenic. The entire liner and both cheek pads are built onto the snap in system which allows you to easily remove them for washing.
Tool-less Visor ScrewsThe visor is attached to the helmet using a oversized tool-less triple screw setup. These large rubber coated screws are completely adjustable without any tools. Their design allows for quick adjustment even with bulky gloves on.

As you have come to expect from 509, we spare no amount of time or expense when it comes to the visual design of our products. With the release of the 509 Evolution helmet, we have raised the bar of visual design even higher. The 509 Evolution helmet is the first in the industry to feature a snowmobile specific graphics theme. Every graphical element on the helmet was designed with a sledders style in mind. From the numerous snowmobile silhouettes to our famous sled evolution design, we designed every element specifically for sledders. Helmets are available in 4 colorways: Gloss Black, Matte Black, Orange, and Pink.

morning

Tom Those look awesome. Pink would fit my riding style better but I think I'll go with gloss black. You gonna have them at the show?

Lids look freakishly good Tom! I like.

Freshly moistened ground for me to tear up this morning. I like that too.

Dads back in spokane as of late last night.

Has everyone checked out the new 509 helmets??? Pretty sick...so sick that I pre-ordered one and got a "FREE" set of goggles. Hopefully XXL will be big enough for my fata$$ head.

When is the damn snow gonna start fallin??? I'm startin to get the itch.

And I'll have to agree with One on this one. IE is pretty good.

Well goin salmon fishin this weekend...hopefully I get a couple! Have a great weekend everyone, don't party to hardy!!!

How did you pre-order and how much are the things?

$179.95 plus shipping. The helmets are not scheduled to ship until October 1st. The offer was sent in an email to prior customers that have ordered online.

I'll end up with two since I have to buy my wife one too after breaking two lids last year.

So Andy, how about that taking "clients" out on the lake? Can I be a prospective client?

Headed to Loon Lake tomorrow for a family party Whittaker. I wish I had unlimited access to the corporate card but it is reserved for Insurance Agents that sell Safeco products in my territory.

Maybe you should open up an insurance agency in Naples.

That's a pretty sweet deal on the helmet pre-order. Got mine:D
X, you have a better excuse than I've got for not going. Suppose to go to a wedding the day of the premier:mad: I've even tried to have to "work" that day to get out of it and sneak up to watch.

well my parents are gonna let me know tomorrow if they will take the kids....then it should be an easier sell to the wife...I hope

Ok so that is really the house next door. right after the pics someone started mowing(3rd time since spring). Damn near choked out a riding mower...and the bastages shot grass onto my side. I gave it an hour and then went and raked the stuff back onto their side.
