I grew up in Yakima. If you guys think it sucks just to go work there try spending your formative years there.

does spending a week on the Rez in White Swan as a teen count?

Sent this off to the Clearwater Forest folks

I am writing to express my views on the Clearwater Forest Travel Plan.

This past winter I made my first trip to this area to snowmobile with friends. It was beyond amazing and I hope to return yearly. Also as the father of two wonderful kids and one on the way I hope to one day take them all out to enjoy the mountains in the same way my friends took me. In addition I am planning to access the Clearwater Forest via dirt bike and quad in the future.

For this reason I give my support to Action A.

I feel that any other option, besides keeping the public from enjoying OUR public lands, will serve as a death blow to the local economies. Many small towns in the area benefit from the dollars brought in by not only snowmobilers but by all who enjoy motorized recreation. Certainly in these current economic times we can not justify crippling the economy of small towns that struggle with the status quo.

Finally I would like to make the point that by limiting motorized access, no matter the season, the Clearwater would no longer be available to those who are not strapping 20 year olds and especially to those who suffer from various disabilities and are confined to a wheel chair for mobility. Surely we can all agree that this is just wrong.

Thank you for considering my views and once again I support Action A, no changes.

Sincerely

Robb Warner

Blue Fest ROCKED!!! As always four days of fun in the sun! (well, Monday's ride back wasn't so fun with a hangover but it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be since we got a tent spot in the shade and I remembered my ear plugs this year! Got a good nights sleep the last night at least!)

See you all at Ione! Gotta get caught up on work now!

Ew your looking in all the wrong places,Town pump. but there out of stock right now or i would bring a couple of dozen pairs to hand out. Shad is that place got a sign out by the road? we'll be stopping for sure. Probably my old gmc and sled deck.X not me i'm riding .

Yes there is a sign out front, and it is close to 13 miles North of Cusick, then you will know you are about there. See ya then...

Yea, had to get a 10" drop hitch, so the boat trailer won't scrap across the speed bumps. Took about 5 hours to get the old rapid hitch out tho
Rapid hitch huu!!!!!!!:)

Hollman Troopper is in Yakima can he pick up your trailer for us to use. or does anybody that is runnin there sled this weekend have an empty spot in there trailer.

Na I want the competition of runnin with Stormy and D-Tripp, they talk the talk now we will see them walk the walk.

Sorry Hardass, my head was inserted deep up a dark cavity on my person at the moment I checked back, or possibly, I had already had a beer or two with an oxycodone for my knee

My grandma is up visiting, if we can work it out for her to be comfortable, we will be coming up on the boat. However, the restroom break and what not will not be easy once I am anchored in position etc. I have a bimini to keep her cool but we shall see.

BB, Eric and everyone else, thanks for the support and words of enouragement. Your probably right Eric, discipline is a deceptive alli for most, not sure why but I have just decided I want to be more active and healthy. Doing it for the kids and family is good but I have finally decided to do it for me, maybe that is the difference.

Yea he can come pick it up. I have all of the "parts" off of it and I'll get a new license plate for it, It's on the side of the road somewhere between spokane and Priest...fell off in January hahahaha.

X...Yea that Roadrunner United album is INSANE! They put out some pretty crazy chit.

Troop...You guys can use it man. When are you going to be rollin through town???

clearwater alternative a

ALTERNATIVE A - No Action
This alternative represents the existing situation. The travel rule would not be implemented and motorized travel opportunities and restrictions would remain as they are now. The no action alternative does not meet the purpose and need for the Travel Plan and is included as a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirement. It serves as a baseline for comparison of the action alternatives.

this is from there website. as you can see alternative a is not even going to be considered. please don't say that is the alternative you want, since they are not even going to entertain that idea at all.

I am reviewing the DEIS and will let you know my opinion as well as saws opinion on this. I kind of have the inside scoop with that organization.

thanks
tim
