Another fun day at the lake with some epic tube riding and some intense wrecks!:D

Back to splitting and stacking wood and clearing brush tomarrow!

I want it to snow.

Well tomorrow is shaping up to be the first day of Harvest. Dang I'm not ready for these 14 hour days...Oh well, only comes around once a year.

Nice pics everyone, looks like everyone had a good weekend. Played competitive baseball for the first time in 2 years on Saturday. It was good to get back on the field again, especially when you ten run the other team both games:D

Less than 1 month till the 21st...Sawyer R you still gonna get me a greasy mexican???

Nice work Motley! Any special exercise program or diet...or did you just cut back? And what is this noise about getting drunk, I thought you told Sawyer and I you didn't drink?

Well boys and girls, I got burned pink over the weekend spraying my parents pastures. So, I won't be going topless with the X at Washougal. What I should have done was tape myself up and leave a white X with the sunburn. But, the next best thing that I will do for ya', is a white T-shirt witha big orange X painted on. My daughter is down with that, so If you guys see a white tent with an orange X and a white slender thing with an X, that be us.
Nice pics all, looks like summer is being good to ya'll. Be safe peoples!!!

lol, I don't normally drink but this will be cause for celebration. I got all that stuff out my system when I was a teenager growing up in a rig pig town in northern Alberta.

Nothin to serious on the weight loss other than extreme discipline. I ride the bike for an hour every morning and swim an hour every night, the key is to keep the heart rate about 150 bpm the whole time. I keep the calories down to 1500 a day. All fruit and veggies and oatmeal of course. One day a week for a treat like Quiznos or something, I don't drink milk or soda or eat sweets. No suppliments other than a daily vitamin. I sure feel like a million bucks. The goal was to be down to 260lbs by Sept 19th but I am losing about 9-10 lbs a week so at that pace I should be about 230 lbs by Sept 19th. I haven't been that weight since grade 11.:D

I figure at 230lbs from 360lbs that is worth about 15 hp on the nytro. Looks like the motor is back together. I'm gonna do the assembly. I'm gonna stiffin the tunnel and sub frame. Maybe do some powder coating. I am going to add the stand alone ecu controller from Impulse as well. Should be able to run 97 octane up to 20lbs (340-350hp) with zero lag or hiccup. She's gonna rip if she holds together.

I'm a closet drunk X or maybe I just need some special lady to bring out the best in me.:D You guys know she was all over me before she even looked your way.;)

hell if you show up this year looking all trim and talking about all that horsepower she will have her clothes off when you walk in;)

X, you will only want tear offs if your getting roosted. Not so much for the single track. They were on there for photos, so I left them for your choosing.

clearwater travel plan. They want to close the sawyers area 406 which is actually in

Dear Clearwater National Forest Travel Planning Participant:

Thank you for your earlier comments on and interest in the Clearwater National Forest Travel Planning effort. The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Travel Plan is now available on the Forest website at http://www.fs.fed.us/r1/clearwater/. The Forest Supervisor has identified Alternative C as the Preferred Alternative and a short summary of the DEIS is attached to this email.

The Clearwater National Forest is making every effort to minimize our use of paper, as well as the consumption of other resources that are needed to produce, transport, and store paper documents. Your willingness to access environmental documents online is greatly appreciated, and will allow us to significantly reduce costs. Copies of the DEIS are also available at Clearwater National Forest offices and many local libraries, including those at Orofino, Deary, Elk River, Grangeville, Kamiah, Kooskia, Lewiston, Moscow, Pierce, Potlatch, and Weippe in Idaho, as well as Superior and Missoula, Montana.

this area is called alot of differnet things. Sawyer isn't the brightest but calls the area 406 which is misleading since you actually ride in 208. others call it surveryor, fish creek. Doesn't matter. some of you got tickets in there for allegedly being in area 406. Well the clearwater national forest wants to shut the area down. The actual name of the area is the great burn. The montana side has been closed since 2000. Now idaho wants to do the same thing. Bummer.

x this is where bigbull took you.

Thanks for bringing this up Tim, I hope all of you will take a moment to comment to the Forest Service about this travel plan. The Clearwater is where I grew up and where I call home and these *** hats have been slowly locking up and shutting down roads and trails hoping the public will just go with the flow. I know its the same story everywhere and it seems like an endless and battle that we are never going to win but hopefully we can slow them down a bit.

What I sent to response to the Travel Plan, please do not cut and paste it:

I am the head of household of a very active year round recreational family, motorized and non motorized. We hunt, fish, hike, camp, ski, ride quads, dirt bikes, Mountain Bikes, and snowmobiles in the proposed Travel management area we are discussing here. Myself, my son Colt, and my Wife, all buy stickers for Idaho and Montana each year for all of our OHV's. If this useage is regulated further, or cut down more than it is, it will prove a grave diservice for the thousands of people who come to this multiple use area with friends and families to have fun and enjoy the outdoors. I am all for regulation where needed and stringent rules to keep them in place. However, this area needs no further changes, other than possibly predator control changes for Fish and Game. There is ample area for all outdoor passions to be enjoyed as is. As far as travel conflicts, I have not seen degradation of habitat or misuse of the land personally in any area we frequent. I propose plan Alternative A, "No Action" as the preferred choice.
Thanks for your time
