I've had Klim gear for a while now... I even travel with it for vacations (softshells and underwear)...

It will be great to see what they have up their sleeves this year.

Klim earned my respect this summer when I sent my bibs in to repair a tear in the leg (got caught on a aluminum corner of my trailer). I knew this wasn't a warranty claim, but I wanted it repaired properly. While in for repair, they tested entire bib for leaks and found that the crotch area did not meet their standards and replaced the gortex free of charge. I've worn these since the 06/07 season and have been impressed with how well they perform and have held up. Thanks Klim, please keep making quality products!

Hopefully it's better zippers on the jackets and stitching on the gloves because I havent had any luck with them. The boots have held up well though.

KLIM you make great stuff and I have been a loyal user for years, BUTT please go figure out how to waterproof the bums of your bibs better. (I know, never ride sitting down and it wouldn't be a problem:face-icon-small-ton)

Thank you, and good luck with your new release!

Good to hear. I am too in the same boat. Flew over my handle bars last season and ripped the stitches all the way up the leg on the seams of my Kim bibs. I have duct tape holding them together. They leak bad around the crouch and butt, which has nothing to do with the seam coming apart. According to the warranty if the item has damage they will not warranty.

Does anyone have the addy to send in warranty items from Canada? I might as well send them in.

Before sending anything in you need to call them and get a Return Authorization Code. Then mail them with the RAC # inside of the box so they what they are receiving and why. Turnaround is great this time of year.

That happened to me last year first ride. Called and got a return number. They looked at my bibs and sent me a brand new pair. And they apologized for a faulty product. I have four years in those bibs. .... Another reason I love klim...

I am a full klim guy also, have had great luck with the products and warranty when it was needed

please please make the part that goes around your boot so snow cant get thru, our group goes thru alot of black duct tape to resolve this issue:face-icon-small-con

A common theme I have gathered from the numerous Klim posts is they seem to stand by their bibs and jackets almost to the point of being unbelievable. Gloves, not so much. My own personal experience has echoed this, and it seems like many others have experienced the same. I wonder why? I would think it would cost a hell of a lot more to replace a full set of bibs than replace a set of gloves? As for the original post...I am intrigued. I would love to see some bibs in a color other than black, I would probably jump on that bandwagon pretty quick.

GOGGLE

For those of you who don't know already, Klim will be introducing a brand new goggle for the sledding market. These are supposed to be the best, fogfree baddazz goggles you have ever used....comin in the fall. $160 for polarized, $130 for mirrored and $110 for standard clear, or blue lenses.

Second that on the zippers!! Brand new Valdez parka second time wearing it and the zipper broke. To top it off we were on our Alaska trip. Luckily, my buddy that lives up there, that we were riding with had an jacket for me to wear the rest of the time.

Klim did take care of me once I got home, new zipper no questions asked and a 20% off coupon for my next order with them, due to the situation.

Funny how we all have different experiences. I wear the Freeride pant and I have NEVER got a wet butt. Ever. All day sitting in wet sloppy Washington snow and never even a small leak. Wore them for 2 seasons and they are stained with tree pitch and that green powdery stuff but they just wear like iron. I have a few small holes and such from falling on my Air Frames(glad I have knee Braces) but again my legs and rear never get wet. I really need to find a pair of the new style in large/tall. They ride up a little with some boots and I get snow over the top of my boots sometimes, need a little more length.
