I don't have fog issues with my Habers with the fan. Sure all stuff has the ability to fog up, but it's all how you set it up. Your helmet HAS to have ventilation or it all goes into your mouthpiece and fogs your goggles.


Anyway, too bad that there are no helmet changes. Guess I'm going with another brand. I really thought Klim would BNG for their helmets this year.

I am a full klim guy also, have had great luck with the products and warranty when it was needed

please please make the part that goes around your boot so snow cant get thru, our group goes thru alot of black duct tape to resolve this issue

Look at the bottom of the pant leg and you may find a little loop with a snap. The trick is to snap the loop around a boot lace. This will keep your pant legs from coming up and will stop snow from going down your boot. I went seasons without knowing that little trick and once it was explained i have been dry ever since.

I have seen guys complain about wet boots only to look down and see they have the gators tucked inside the boot...basically funneling snow into them.

That little piece of fabric and snap is key to keeping your pant legs down where they belong and keeping the snow outside where it belongs (I snap it before tightening the Boa system on my HMK boots). Also pulling the gator tight and securing the velco holds everything in place.

Just picked up the Klim Elite glove. These are, by FAR the best glove I have ever put on. I used the Burton AK Yeti glove for years. They were the most top end glove I could ever find... until these Klim Elite gloves. These Elite's use a lot of the same technology that are in my AK Yeti gloves (Gore-tex, Pittards leather, etc). Yes, they are outrageously expensive at $237 shipped ($100 more than my AK Yeti gloves), but they are the highest quality glove I've ever put on. They also have a lifetime warranty. Gonna keep my hands warm & dry (hopefully) on the coldest of cold days.

If you go on Klim's website you will see that the Elite glove looks black and orange. It's not orange. I took a pic of the actual color next to some orange scissors and yellow on a beach ball. More of a dark yellow/tan.

OK, I must be thick as a brick. I just can't picture how it works?????

It should of had the two sides of a snap on it...so you loop the fabric thru a shoe lace then snap the piece together.

In essence creating a tie down so your pant gator does not ride up the boot and allow snow into your boot.


The snaps fall off rather quickly...just checked my old klim gear and both pair of pants that I have have no snaps left.

Have used full klim gear u do get what u pay for their product works.I have had a few problems with zippers but it is fixed at no cost and no hassel.
