Some new products for the Pro turbo guys

This is exactly what I needed to know! But I have a question. "If the conditions changed enough that changes needed to be made" My only question is how much do conditions have to change? My D8T(2 seasons ago) was a pain when riding in areas of 2-3k or more elevation change or temp swings of 15* or more, I constantly had to make changes on the controller. I probably didn't HAVE to but it stumbled alot, and I HATE a poorly running machine.

I'm with you, I hate a poorly running machine too. That is one of the reasons why we tested so long before releasing a product for sale.
Once we installed the T-map interceptor there was almost no more tuning. Three of the guys in our group, including my kid never adjusted the fuel box once in the last 4 trips to the mountains. That is riding from 2-7500 feet.

I stopped by and seen Neil last night to see some of the products he's producing and the workings of his controller. Everthing is top notch and the control box simply beautiful how easy it is to use. Can't wait to run his box this winter.

ok so then quick question. with your new fuel regulator are you adding fuel psi to the system or not? and if not how are you adjusting for the needed fuel pressure under boost? or do you really not need it?

"The fuel regulator drops the fuel pressure 15 lbs which leans out the bottom end for clean fueling and improved fuel economy. When you hang a turbo on to the end of the exhaust, it actually acts as a restrictor and causes the sled to go rich. Then when you get to a slight boost situation the sled can go lean in cruise because the factory injectors are out of range and the extra injectors are not metered properly to give the perfect amount of fuel. Our fuel box has enough adjustment that we are able to meter fuel for cruise and not have a lean spot while part throttle down the trail."

IMO, this answers your question.

it does and it doesn't. i understand how it works on the low end. but when you are running 12# of boost are you not needing to be adding 12# of fuel pressure on top. or is the box adding fuel at a lower psi to compensate for the loss in pressure.

HOLY COW$HIT!!!

That is pure climbing power right there. Thanks for those vids man.

About your products, it is $189 for a set of 4 mounts, right? The fuel box, can it be used to tune a NA sled with other mods as well? Your asking price?

Regards,

Rune

We ran 44 PSI static, so did not boost reference the regulator. We just built a map to add enough extra fuel on the top end.

We have now tested with the same regulator but added a boost reference line so fuel pressure does increase with boost. That is how we will be selling the product and the revised fuel map reflects this change.
If a person needed to add or subtract fuel in at any RPM through the boost range, then it is a simple adjustment on the XIC that only takes a few seconds.
You just toggle through the rpm screen until you come to the desired RPM then add or subtract a couple points of fuel at that particular RPM.

I should mention that I have let people ride one of our turbo Pro's all day starting from from 2000 ft right up to 7500 ft and they didn't even know what a Wideband gauge was. These were people that had never even ridden a sled in the mountains before so you know they were riding part throttle most of the day. Not sure how many people would just let a newbie jump on there turbo sled and let them go.

We have never tested on a NA sled. Our system only controls extra injectors so it may be a bit overkill to put it on a NA sled. I am sure I could make it work, but have never found a reason to try it out.

Thanks for the compliments. We have got these 2 strokes to the point where the big 4 stroke guys are actually paying attention. Both in how well they work, and the rideability. As time goes on, we are finding them quite reliable too.
It's one thing to make a 2 stroke go fast...making them go fast in deep pow is a different story.

thanks neil. as always you got a handle on things. are you going to be at the edmonton snow show so i can talk to you about it? sundays are always boring there. lol.

Yup we will be there. We will have two new sleds with our turbo kits installed. We will have some fuel controllers set up so they are interactive and people can play around with them. Most people are really shocked at how easy they are to understand and adjust.

Looks like a slick set up. One think I wouldn't mind seeing is a how to video showing how to tune a sled with boost-it or any other manufacture for the matter. I myself have a good grasp on hot to tune a sled but not everyone does.

Thinks like a lean or rich condition's at x-rpms

First set-up of the box.

I think this would drive alot of people to your product if they truly understand how easy and Constance it actually is.

There really isn't much to see. It's literally and up and down arrow with a screen for whatever you want to adjust, main fuel, threshold and then a screen for every 250rpm. It was stupid easy to use when I ran my pro at the end of the season with it.

I agree completely! It would help a lot to see t done other than hear "it's really simple and works"
Our business was created to help people that needed help. If people are happy with their current set up then that's great. I am not trying to put a sell job on anyone. I keep it simple and have offered a full money back guarantee.
We are riders like everyone else, and just want our stuff to run awesome every day. And for the days we may need to adjust something, we want it stupid simple and no laptop.
We tested for 2 full seasons so our customers don't have to and will let our products speak for themselves.
There are only a couple weeks left in our summer sales pricing and then the kits go back to regular price. They are 1100.00 now and will go to 1250.00 Oct 1st.
We have been shipping kits daily and have kits in stock.
Thanks.

Thanks Jeff, it really is as easy as you say. I sent you an update for your Fuel kit along with your cousins new fuel kit.
Thanks.
We are finally getting our heads above water after moving in to our new addition. Over 3500 square ft of shop space now.:face-icon-small-coo
