Sold the Doo, Bought a Pro Ride 155

Make sure you check it ALL out. Check for kink in oil line, makesure nice for flow. Some have had some wire rub issues in behind oil tank . Itook a piece of aquarium air line and went around the sharp edges totally helped. Other than that I've had no issues 1400km. She rocks, enjoy.

Good for you...you will love the extra energy you have left at the end of the day compared to the doo.

All seriousness though, it wasnt that long ago this thread would of been the other way. It is SO cyclic, but good for competition. There is no doubt the Pro is the chassis to have THIS year or possibly the next few until....?? But just think how great the Doo or Cat will have to be to top it!!! Sorry Blue I just dont see you in this race yet:face-icon-small-win

I am pretty excited to get out on it. Just sitting on it feels alot like my 05 REV. I never did get the feel of the XP. The Doo was a good ride but I felt like a new sled and have been hearing some good news about the Pro. I didn't ride last winter so I didn't get to see one in action.

So true...competition breeds better products.

I am thinking of doing the same switch to Polaris. That thing just looks sexy! I would like to ride one first tho..... Haven't heard of anybody that regreted the move tho

got rid of the doo and bought some POO......good for you.

I like it. Thats some funny chit rite there!

Don't over tighten the oil tank cap cause it will leak and keep an eye on the primary sheave cause my buddys seperated from the shaft before he hit 500 miles. If its PRO and not just an RMK it will have overheating issues in low snow conditions, unless they added the front cooler on the PRO for 2012.
After riding the rmk for a month go jump on a rev and see how bull legged it makes you feel Lol. I think u might miss the trail ride from the doo, I know I do.

If the Rmk had a powerclaw and the weight transfer my cat has I think I would trade my cat in on one.

Didnt sell my doo but did buy a pro rmk , gave my son my doo so I can ride them same day in the same conditions, the xp gets the nod in the bumps and keeping you warmer, the pro takes way less energy to ride once you get used to it , drag raced them for a 1/2 a mile they were pretty much dead even the pro did finally out run it. the steep and deep the pro rocks boon docking jumping, I would have to say the xp does climb better especially when it gets really steep,

New guy, any advice on the Pro-ride?

if your comin off a doo you will have the same problem i had the first ride...
dont try so hard carving, stay centered instead of hopping boards unless you really need to get it to move..

one hr on the poo and i was ready to get back to my doo, just to unstable a machine for my type of riding, now for a light person, it could be the answer

This a typical Doo rider's response. They're so used to using extreme effort to control their hippos, they try to ride a Pro or M the same way and call them tippy. Ya, it sucks to have a sled that is effortless to ride and responds instantly to the slightest bit of rider input. LMAO !! Your always good for a laugh fred. I'll give you that.

Sent from my iPhone when I should be sledding.
