Did your wife happen to be kind of stuck right on the road of the Cold Springs loop?

I saw an M1000 there, I was riding in a twosome, M8 and Dragon.

We found some good snow too, will post pics of the pow and carnage in a bit.

That was us --thankfully no carnage today -- spent all day yesterday fixing damage from a log above Bountiful on friday == hope yours wasn't too bad.

And I am still trying to figure out how I got a ding in the top part of my front bumper. if you look real close at the pic you can kind of see it. Kind of strange....

It was miserable up there today, I would have rather of sat on the couch and watched football and eat cheetos and Pizza.....NOT

With the exception of the carnage it was an awesome day, found some new secret stashes. :D

You could have skipped the "stuck" part. It was his fault, he was in the way. :)

It happens to the best of us. I was stuck 3 times in a matter of 10 minutes on the same hill. First and second time were somewhat legitimate stucks, 3rd was me trying to show off/not wanting to go back to the bottom and come back up.

All in all it was a gorgeous day up there.

We live in west Bountiful and go to Soapstone all the time, maybe we could meet up there sometime

Yes, it was really nice up there. Back in the bowls the snow was really nice. I also got stuck on a hill and thought I'd see if rolling it over would work. I tried. I just couldn't bring myself to see if it would break something. So, we dug and tugged.

Here's one of my pics from soapstone today:

had an awesome day. without having been there we managed to find a good sized area with waist deep snow that no one had touched.

We had huge areas of untouched waist deep snow...90% of the day actually. :D

It was kind of shame leaving at 2:30-3 o clock but after 3 days in a row my body told me to give it up.

Hubby and I and one of our kiddos were up there also..It was beautiful!! We didnt go where you did, we just went up to Wolfr Creek Summit and there was still plenty of powder to play in.

Hubby wants to buy a M1000...How do you like yours?

The RH one will do, I will leave it on until snow improves but the LH ski tip is about 4 or 5 inches further in than it should be.

LOL. Mine was about a foot back. 4 to 5 inches is not good though. We should get others together and do a bulk order.

Or just go with new aftermarket A arms that aren't made of glass?

As usual, I have no idea when exactly I bent them, I have some guesses, but didn't notice any change in the handling, I only noticed once I got on the trail back to the truck and noticed some alignment issues.

I will have a stud in my garage from floor to ceiling with Dragon A arms hanging on it pretty soon....

Luv it!! Have only put about 500 miles on it, still getting used to it. But it's an impressive machine

Thats good to hear!! He has been looking at new and used sleds and has decided he really likes the m1000's the best but, thinking bout getting maybe a used one or two not brand new..Are the older ones just as good? Do ya know?

My experiance with the 1000s is unless you are a big guy they seem big and heavy. I think I have comparable skill of my buddy that has one, but am about 60 pounds lighter and it feels like a tank riding it compared to my 800 and dragon or M8.

That is just my opinion though.

Yeah I hear that about some of the more powerful sleds unfortunately. He really wants one with more horse power to boondock and climb the deep and steep stuff. But, a tank can't be fun to ride in the mountains here ya know? He is not a large man., but strong and about 190lbs..<sigh> Wish they were like cars...you get to test drive em before you buy em...lol
