So Ski-doo has a sub 500 4 stroke with 130HP stock??

People have no problems pushing big boost through one throttle body in the automotive world. Depending on how big it is it might become a restiction and need to be upgraded and same goes for the intake manifold.

a single automotive throttle body is a tad larger then on a 1000 cc engine though right?

Skidoo might do this, AC might do that, Skidoo should be lighter, the engine should be able to make the power with boost(fingers crossed). You guys could have had it for the last 5 years already. 170hp at 9psi won't cut it, the Nytro makes about 200 at 9psi. Lightest, most power, reliability...pick any two :)

who gets exited about a 130 hp sled? yami guys? i'd be watching ac to be the first production turbo mountain sled next year. with the new twin spar chassis and around 170 hp with 9 psi of boost. now that sounds like something to be exited about. with ac's experience with production turbo sleds it should rock and be reliable out of the box. can brp say that...

Why would anyone be excited about a factory Cat turbo that REALLY doesn't have much more power than their 1000 2 stroke offering? Not to mention the weight disadvantage on it?

I agree with you on the reliable out of the box comment... BRP has lost a lot of people's faith in the last few years. RT1000 anyone?

my dads friend is geting one of these 1200?? 4 stroke doo;s and converting it into a mountain sled with a 174'' track!! with a super charger....if its possible i dont no!! lol

Big John is doing something interesting with the 1200 this year. I will wait and let him tell you about it though......
