that happened to my house up at college this year. the house was brand new and we were the first ones to live there, only lived there about a month or two and the ice maker in the fridge got stuck on and flooded the house. Had to replace all the sheetrock in the basement, all the carpet padding, and the linoleum in the kitchen. not a fun deal, good luck buddy

Good luck with the repairs, dude. I went through a mildly flooded basement about 10 yrs ago due to a sump-pump failure....that was enough fun. I do know what it's like to listen to 5 industrial fans running 24 hrs a day for a week!

Yeah those fans are really loud. Now try 38 of them in your house and 5 dehumidifiers. No way we could stay at our house. Luckily my brother lives just down the street so we are staying with him. Today they should be taking out the rest of the fans. Still about 15 of them in here.
Utahedge, Thanks for the offer but we have a good friend that does this kind of work thats going to do it for us. It all is going to be covered by the insurance, so we are going to let them take care of it.
Also thanks to all those that sent PM's and comments my way with advise. It sucks being out of our house for a few weeks but i guess it could have been worse.
Oh and to those that asked to be added to my website, i will get to that as soon as I can. It was kind of bad timing i guess for when i set that site up. Kind of busy right now with getting my house put back together.
