Some of us aren't so short sighted as to overlook how bad things were after bush was done. I see right now as an improvement over the Bush years.

WOW are there really people in this country that dumb? Guess so or Obama for sure wouldn't be re elected. In 4 years Obama tripled the deficit. Put us deeper in debt as a country in 4 years than all the other presidents combined did in 232 years.
I had it a lot better when Bush was pres and it was only costing me 100 dollars in gas, than now when it costs me at least 200 per trip to get sledding. Yep I am way better off now.

Deeper in debt than the last 232 years combined? The deficient went from about 6T when bush started to 10.7T when he was there. Obama increased it about 5T so between all other presidents since bush, none increased by 0.3T?

And as for gas prices, the price of gas at the peak of the economy and at the end of the Bush era was 4.12$ I have yet to see that here. Not only that but gas prices fluctuate due to demand not president.
Romney wants to increase the 1%'s earning by 100% in his 4 years and decrease the other 99%'s earnings to levels last seen in 1776.

You know what we can go on forever with this BS. What really needs to happen is a flat tax on all income period. Lets say 10 percent for ease. You make a million a year you pay 100,000 in taxes you make 50 K a year you pay 5000. You make 2K per year you pay 200 Every income earner in this country pays the same even the kid with the paper route. No deductions, no loop holes no tax returns and no refunds. This crap where there are so many people who pay no taxes at all is BS. Even the people who make 15 K per year use streets and fire and police protection. That way it would be fair for everyone and those who pay nothing now would be paying their way.
Now corporations they would be the same, a flat 10% on all profits. No deductions expenses incurred in doing business or for any kind of equipment deemed as a cost of doing business. It is the companies best interest to replace equipment on a regular basis to continue to perform efficiantly. This crap of getting a write off to upgrade equipment that will benefit and produce higher profits for the company is BS. Yes I know I live in a dream world but if it was this way the government would have so much money they would have to put more people on welfare in order to pizz it all away.

Couldn't agree more that we need to do away with our current tax system as it is clearly not working. I think we should either do flat tax or reduce rates dramatically and get rid of all deductions. Make the rates 10%, 12.5%, and 15% tiered to how much you make and again same goes for businesses.

Probably benefitting from all those shovel ready jobs Obama promised. Oh wait! They weren't so ready were they. I laugh every time I go through a construction zone and one of those putting America back to work signs are up. Yeah right most construction projects are in the works many years before they actually get done. I hate to say it but some that were done in the last 4 years were probably in planning stage back when Clinton was President. There is a by pass being planned here for Billings that has been in the talking and planning stage for 20 years at least and they are still talking 2020 before it is reality.
