I'm not blocked, would you like me to post your comment on your behalf? Just offering as I agree with you...

Sure that would be great. I tried to comment on a number of his videos and cant on any. I couldnt even send him a message. I think I might go to his personal page and send him some mail that way. On the otherhand I dont know if I even want to waste my time with this idiot.

I sent him a personal, tactful e-mail. He answered. He believes that taking care of the earth is more importnat than anything else. He is an atheist and earth is his religion. No amount of stuff will convert him, but obnoxious responses only lights his fires. I sent him some links showing facts and data about snowmobiles scaring wildlife less than skiers and how crops that have been ridden on are as good, or even better due to snowmobiling, but he will dismiss them.

These are the wacko's we are against. They have nothing to do, other than be fanatical about the earth. They are not interested in anyone elses opinion and all we can do is counter their BS with facts. I'm sending him a summer picture of the "railroad" area on Baker where he shot one of his videos. With all the rocks, you can never find sign of snowmobile use, except for trash that us or any skier could leave.

Join your club, volunteer for clean ups and trail maintentace and try to be civil.

SAWS, BRC, Your State club, A local Club and ACSA should all be part of your snowmobile experience.

Yup. People like him are completely unreasonable.
It was people like him that inspired my latest sticker.........

hypocrite tells lies about how those sleds ruined the shrubs in that area he filmed. And then walks up on 3 BUCKS in another YOU TUBE video to spook them off:mad: Right there is when you know that he has less values for the respect of wildlife then anyone here on snowest. This is the time of year bucks are getting there fat reserves built up for winter and the up coming rut. Yet he walks right up to them to blow them out of there when he should have kept his distance. He did MORE damage to Nature right there then a 100,000 sleds would riding in that country, when the snow melts, tracks are gone and shrubs are green.

I need 10 minutes of conversation with this Grimace. He needs to be pointed in the right direction, obviously dad didn't teach him anything. Other then to tell lies.

Can anyone show me the damage in the video???

I look and look and haven't seen it yet.:D

One more thing even though it was mentioned. The rude comments fueled his fire. Which is just what he wanted, why erase the vulgar messages, he knew he was lying and that people would just get fired up and couldn't control there anger and would express it below his video.

restraint

I could not respond. everytime I started thinking of something to say to him it came out "I just want to choke every bit of useless life out of you."
Freeking Nut job.
I have a bunch of emails I would like to send him after reading threw his page. but he would probably be to buisy wacking himself in his house where natures beauty used to be, built with trees he doesnt think should be logged. Or on his way to get a steak from the store where they make them instead of killing inocent animals, of course in his car that is made from cow dung and fueled by solar power instead of steal and gas like the rest of us who have no respect for the earth. grrr

I wish that we could cut off all of mother earths resources to these twits. No oil so they can't drive, no toilet paper to wipe their candy azz with. No natural gas to heat their home and so on. I CAN'T STAND THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

He blocked me too for making an unoffensive comment about his deer video.:D All I said was something like "we need to make it to where nobody should be able to access anyland anywhere. Wilderness just isn't enough anymore." or something like that. Oh well.:beer;

I also left a civil message explaining the facts, and he also deleted my posts on both of his videos.

a halfwit like this thrives on attention ,try to ignore the stupid as it is everywhere.the thing is people dont understand everybody has the right to choose their own way ,the problem is the ones that are so insecure that they need to convice everyone thier way is the only way.....look at all the anti clearcutters 10 years ago what are all the clearcuts from that era now ,healthy thriveing forests, ohh yea lots of thought put into those demonstrations,a bunch of sheep following a few fanatics try to derail an industy out of ignorance and when summers over they move back to moms house in the city, still with no actual knowledge of forest health.....these are the guys that sue for spilling hot coffee on themselfs

I posted this on his video.

"Haha wow,

Do you ever ski at resorts?

What exactly do you think they do to create ski runs? They "decimate" plants and bushes too.

So does falling and compacting snow.

Skiers actually more effect on wildlife than snowmobiles do, due to the fact that a sled will drive through an area in /100th the time a skier will, therefore the skier has a much longer presence. There have been multiple papers on this issue.

I suggest going to one of the hundred areas that snowmobiles aren't allowed."

It's amazing he's crying over a bunch of trampled bushes. I almost feel compelled to post that photo of Kyle and Browner with the rabbit they shot on sleds up in bralorne, meat is murderrrrrr, aha.

Here are the cited papers, blurredelevens posted it up on TGR.

Excerpts.
*Parker et al. (1984) suggested that greater flight distances occur in response to skiers or individuals on foot compared to snowmobiles and that unanticipated disturbance may have a more detrimental effect. Freddy et al. (1986) and Freddy (1986) also reported that responses by mule deer to persons afoot, when compared to snowmobiles, were longer in duration, more often involved running, and required greater energy expenditures.

/So yes, skiers, kayakers, hikers, people on foot do more damage due to prolonged contact with wildlife.
