snowmobiling is bad....apparently

HOLY CRAP hes trying to shut down the Ski resorts too.....dam I mean is there anything this guy likes....I mean sleding, hunting, downhill skiing....or ya he likes 4x4 cause they dont destroy the snow.

What a tool! to bad the sledders replying to his video of the decimated snow make him seem legitimate. Most of the replies sound like they came from mouth breathing cave dwellers!!

He seems to delete all of the comments from sledders that he doesn't like.

I posted a comment that was very polite, but pointed out many of his hypocrisies and mistruths, and he deleted it. If you look at his profile he is an avid traveller. I commented that his first class plane rides resulted in more emissions than a snowmobiler causes in a lifetime of riding.

Sounds like that Greenie Hugger's balls havent even dropped.

I say he needs to get a life, VERY hypocritical. he drives a gas guzzling, polluting, noisy vehicle to the parking lot.

It would not matter if a sled ran on carbon dioxide, emitted pure oxygen and sounded like a spring rain, guys like him will still hate them because they are machines and the people on them are having fun and he is not. Let me guess he probably hates surfers also because they mess up the waves and run over moss. The ditches around Trailshead Lodge in the Black Hills must see 100,000 or more sleds a year go over them between the PLR's, SPORS and real riders and in the summertime the grass gets about 4 feet tall up there. Wonder if he knows what his house is made out of------OMFG-----you mean someone cut down a tree to build my house, if he is serious he should end his own life right now to save the planet!!!!!!!!!!

This is the type of thing that really annoys me.
First of all, you're not in the "wilderness". I know, I live about 15 minutes away from where this video was shot. You're in the Webster Pass area, just outside of Montezuma. It's open to snowmobiling, all the way from Montezuma, over Webster to the Tiger Run area on the Breckenridge side.

So here is why you are upset-
a) you drove up from your home in Golden, Colorado to "get away from it all"
(I learned this by reading your website www.RogerWendell.com )
b) you're basically a tourist, and have no idea of what areas are open to what access in this county
c)being the gaper that you are, you skinned up a road that in your mind was
"wilderness, and really remote"
d)apparently the road, the structures, and the already present sled tracks were of no value to you in evaluating your location
e) as you and your Joey pals are gaping around and feeling really hardcore like you guys had really trekked into some remote ****.....a couple of sleds cruise by taking the wind out of your sails......all of a sudden, you didn't feel so tough and hardcore...no, that was replaced by feelings of stupidity and foolishness.
f)in order to protect your fragile ego....or at least trying to justify yourself and not look like the moron "guide" in front of your Joey pals....you decided to instantly project your feelings of inadequacy onto the snowmobilers.

Take responsibility for your own stupidity and quit blaming others.
People like you are the worst.

Next time, go ski touring where snowmobiles aren't allowed.

At least then, you won't look like such an ignorant douchebag.

These type of people are becoming more and more. They come up from the city and expect the mountains to be picture perfect, just like it was when the first person saw it. The more city folk this country gets the more this becomes an issue. Its not that our tracks will melt away in the spring, its the fact that their there the day they come up to the mountains to see it perfect and untouched...........I've talked to people visiting the Stanley area (Redfish Lake) and they say "We love coming up to the wilderness and camping here", in their 40' 5th wheel. (Redfish area will hold around 5,000 campers) Seems like most city folk don't know the deferance between muti. use and Wilderness.

Here is evidence of the decimation that sleds do!!!!! This is Cottonwood Pass area to the south of the bowl. For those that know this area it is heavily traveled and pack all winter long.

The problem with this guy is that he has an audience and they all agree with him. A small bunch of willows and a field that will show signs of our use will generate hard feeling toward our sport. Even though, in the summer you cannot tell that we have been there.

Have your ever taken one side of a story and being pizzed off because of it, and come to realize later, without facts from the other side, that your perception is wrong. His audience will not look at the other side. Just sheep following the Herder. This idiot thrives on that.

So i tried to comment to his video and posted one and then went back to post again got done and all my stuff was gone. I think he blocked me. Its funy someone can swear and stuff at him but when someone tries to be civil and post a comment that makes sense he blocks them

This is what i was saying and tried to even send him a message but I think i am completly blocked. What an idiot. I cant even comment on his channel either.

"So do you think that skiers do not impact the land at all? Do you think a skier has never run over some bushes and broken branches off some trees? If so you are so wrong! I have seen many tree branches broken because of skiers thinking they can squeeze through the trees and end up breaking a bunch of branches off the trees. I have also seen many trails left from skiers that have cut the tops of the bushes and trees off with their skis. People like you need to take a look at yourself and quit being such a hypocrite. I noticed you have one video that says you want a rock crawler. Do you think that those do not damage the trees and bushes as well?

Also did you block me as a user in posting to your stuff? I posted a comment and then went back to comment again and my comments were gone. What the heck? People swear at you and nothing happens to them. But when someone acually makes sense on your videos you block them. I guess you are just afraid of the truth and afraid you might look like and idiot to others.

If you think you are so much better than the snowmobilers around because they broke a couple of branche on some bushes, just remember that you are just as to blame on stuff as anybody else. What did it take for that road to be built and how many trees got cut down so you can drive your vehicel to the mountains to enjoy the scenery? Just think about it for a minute. "

I've always thought that "there's a seat for every ***"

Mine happens to be on a sled, his is obviously on a stick.

side note: I do believe I've planted a few pine cones with my sled and I have definitely hugged a few trees (have a cracked hood to prove it) wonder if that would make him happy?

liberals....geez!

I'm not blocked, would you like me to post your comment on your behalf? Just offering as I agree with you...

Wow, what a Fruit Loop!

The state of Colorado will never be the same without those weeds.....Maybe the 20 acres of weeds that he showed will help seed that "destroyed" area. Does he know that there is probably 10 feet of weeds below him? I think the weed population will be ok.

I like the video when the sledders rode past him, the wind in the mic made more noise than the sleds.
