Snowies question

When riding out of Albany, is there any decent riding to the south? We've rode out of Albany a few times but only when it has been snowing real hard and we found plenty of riding to the north. I'd like to get back out there riding this season and maybe stay at Albany Lodge.

Sorry no help here. We ride out of greenrock, but I am taking a group of newbies out of albany on the 15th on rentals. should be fun, especially if the snow was like this weekend.

Depends on what kind of riding you want to do - there is some good tree running down there, there is the pipeline, and some FS roads. If there is any fresh snow it is a blast. We usually ride North and West though, the elevation goes up quite a bit and it seems like the snow is usually deeper.

South of Albany

I've never gone too far south on B, but you can take it as far as Wycolo near the Wyoming/Colorado border. (Actually, B hooks up with, i think T and continues to Wycolo.) I only saw trails, nothing open.
