I was in the snowies 2nd week in january and ran into a 3 foot dump, epic!. But my season is over so would really love to see so great pics. I'm so depressed.

How different is the forecast for Centennial or Encampment to up on the hill? I'm coming out next weekend and it looks like it really warms up the following week (while I'm there). I'm starting to drive myself nuts looking at these forecasts.

were staying in laramie , so we have to drive up to green rock obviously.. anyway this morn they had the gate closed 2 miles out of lararmie on 130 just the lane to centennial ...people coming down side was open.. needless to say we went around it and headed on up........its snowing hard in laramie right now. it snowed up in the snowies all day....by the time i made it to the queary warming hut i was getting low on fuel.......this sled is throttled all out ....i have 08 xp 154 and i i can only ride 4 or 5 hours in this stuff and than i need gas............i was on e coming back to green rock so i rode steady and easy.......it is a blizzard.......i for got my camera.......sorry no pics but u all know what its like.......and we dont need anymore snow up there....i did have to turn on my carb heaters today also my; buds 09 xp had to turn them on .. other makes had problems also with sleds cutting out not running right...... i put a bottle of the red iso heet in it tonite when filled i will do that every day this trip

Indeed! Is that the most accurate for the Snowies?
my cousin lives in ft. collins he said on the new s that this storm is coming up from the gulf....those are the biggest and best ones....for they dont get tired out coming over all the mountain ranges like they do from the west..........and they have a tendancy to stick around here for awhile..
also some guys are in a motor home up at green rock they been there a few nites and days now.. i asked them this morn ing if it snowed all nite up there and they said yes all except one hour......

That's my primary one that I have been using for the last 5 years.
Seems to be pretty accurate.
There is a small map in the lower right. You can click on the map and get forcasts for different locations on the mountain.

hi there ck .......wish u were here i was at the bear tree last nite and dan the man who can make your sled rock was sitting right next to me for hours.......u could have got the info to get that baby dialed in ..than u can come down into the creeks wiith me....... and experience the deep , and the thrill of the edge/.
