Haven't gotten around to writing that one up... This has become one of my summer projects.
I talked with Bruce for a while on the phone this morning at Tracks USA.
He is not saying that using 2.86" drivers give you "no problems"
What he IS saying is that the 2.86" tracks, which are made in one piece on a drum mold, are not failing like the 2.52 or the 3.0" pitch tracks are.
Not the driver... but the tracks themselves that are having the problems.
So the track to use is the one made for the 2.86 drivers...does not matter about the drivers you actually use. Interesting. I will be awaiting to read your summer project. Thanks for the info
