Snowchecked a Pro-RMK, should I go with the Cammo Challenger Extreme?

Haven't gotten around to writing that one up... This has become one of my summer projects.

I talked with Bruce for a while on the phone this morning at Tracks USA.

He is not saying that using 2.86" drivers give you "no problems"

What he IS saying is that the 2.86" tracks, which are made in one piece on a drum mold, are not failing like the 2.52 or the 3.0" pitch tracks are.

Not the driver... but the tracks themselves that are having the problems.

So the track to use is the one made for the 2.86 drivers...does not matter about the drivers you actually use. Interesting. I will be awaiting to read your summer project. Thanks for the info:tea:

I got a lot of information from you guys prior to installing the CE on my 09 D8. I did the trim job on the lugs to bring the outer 4 1/2" of each side on the lugs to 2.3" high. The CE on my sled with a stock motor killed the 5.1 stockers we run with in all the snow conditions we encountered in Ak. at 3000 to 6500 ft. elevation for two seasons. I am a big proponent of this mod being a must on D8's. I ran the 2.86 pitch with no change of drivers, cheapest way to go, but, seemed effective enough. The 'trimming' mod seemed to provide enough clearance for snow evacuation from the tunnel on my sled. Now if Polaris would dump the dumb middle cog set up so we could run a track with no holes in it!!!

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for all the help and input!

P.S. Run the CE track banjo string tight!!
