Snowboard drops in Fernie

Hey y'all,

What are some good areas near Fernie to do some snowboard drops with the sled. I get holidays next week and they're getting snow. Thanks.

you better wait. most areas are still a bit on the lower side for something like drops of any size still need to watch for stumps. there isn;t enough snow in the alberta side yet but york creek is a snowboarder spot and if your go out behind castle mountain ski hill there are some drops around but i have found a few fair sized booters back there. you can try the notch best bet that i know of for find a drop with enough snow on the landing.

Sweet man. I'll try out York creek. I just want to know some new areas that you can get some good turns in with easy turn arounds and climbs. I've tried the notch before. Just looking for better riding.
