A couple weeks ago it was so icy with nothing to get into on the side that our tracks were smoking. Took forever to get up the first few k's stopping and throwing snow on the track.
I see now it's gravel out of the parking lot. Will be less painful when you can drive to 4k.

Yeh feels like a short season this year, or at least for riding up there. Road opened late, and thinking with this weather it’s going to melt out soon. Oh well looks like dirt riding is already getting good down lower.
