It's not bad at all and if you already have one, use it! It has lights, big fuel tank, kick and e-start, flawless EFI, and will easily run heated grips. One thing that is a must is to get rid of the stock silencer and run an SX silencer or get an FMF or similar. The stock silencer is so restrictive that it kills the power but even worse it gets so hot that any clothing that touches it will melt on contact and the aluminum melts around the end cap bolts and falls apart. If you've ever taken one apart you'll see what I mean.
The 450SX we have a kit on will walk away from the XCW and the power difference is huge but again, if you have it, run it!!!!
