The trail lake snotel doesn't lie. I went up Saturday while running an errand and found an honest 5". Enough to ride sort of, probably not a good idea. Unless you get a foot or more I would not bother. This storm, most likely, will be 3-6" range. If your itching it might be worth heading to Togwotee pass, they are gonna get another 12-18" by Saturday on top of what they have now.
